Pennywise= Harlequin x Jack the Ripper


Well, it took me 15 seeds to get this one gal.
She is sativa dominant and carries the lemon scent that Jack the Ripper is know for.
She curently sits at 53 days when I did the shoot this past Monday. her glands are all milky and I expect her to be done at 60 days but if you want more ambers then you'd be looking at around 67 days to complete.
Her flowers are quite large and fat and over the past 2 weeks really filled out very nicely.
All of her branch's are sagging under the weight of said flowers and have all subsequently beeen tied up.
Through out her growing life I was feeding them with TLO tea's but my methods still need to be improved upon.Her soil is a mix of Sunshine #4, Compost and Steer manure.I have acsess to worm castings but it's sterilised and I have been trying it out for the past year but I don't see any benefits to using it so it was excluded from this grow

I think he meant he was looking for a jack dominant pheno and it took him 15 seeds to find a jack dom female.

My question -- have you sampled yet -- it seems like a jack dom pheno is no good unless it has the benefits of the harliquin you could just grow jack are you going to get her tested? what were the other female phenos like? were they not keepers at all or you just really wanted a more jack dom? I can definitely understand i'm looking for an ace with enough jack in it but all the bcs traits i want

1 year ago I planted 10 seeds and from those 10 seeds 9 sprouted.From those sprouts I got 9 males
4 months ago I plated 5 seeds and from those 5 seeds I got 4 males.
Room temps optimal at 76 df.Hum 60%. Plants grown in soil and fed with Tea's

My personal belief is the male dominance comes from the Harlequin. I have grown JTR and now what its like
No, I won't be sending it in for testing.Any testing done is by me and my brother who is suffering from Fibromyalgia

I wouldn't say there aren't any benefits to a JTR dom, Reef. Don't forget about the THCV in the strain...

I had 9 sprout on my test, 4 were female, 1 of the 4 was hempy a bit and lacked vigor so I chucked it at week 4.

The 3 that were ran were all harlequin dominant and 2 of them had a lemon bubblegum smell while the other had a coffee/pepper smell.

Just experience from my run.

Is this a common problem with the pennywise ?

I couldn't tell you as I haven't seen any test runs of the Pennywise other than this one.

I have ran so many TGA strains and this is the 1st time I had sooo many males in a test cross.
Call it luck of the draw I guess cause I usually score 7 or more females from Subs strains

I mean no good if you're looking for over 10% cbd and it gets it's cbd levels from the jtr side... wow 14 males... gonna be some people bitching about that for sure if it's a general trend.. definitely good to know I was only planning on popping about half of mine to start but if the male dominance is a general thing with the strain I may have to pop'em all (watch me get all ocanabis' girls)

Pennywize is no different than other strains in male to female ratio, in our first run from seed I got 4 outa 5 females right outa the wet bud.
I think Ocan has got so many damn females he finally got a bad hand hehe

Crossing my fingers... have never gotten less than 50% female so far. My average is around 65% female. I don't want to think about getting more males than females... gives me the shivers.

Only a few more days to my dr who, mickey kush and dairy queen should be here!!! 100% germ on the space dawgs, 6 mickey kush will be joining you girls soon. god bless tga.

I usually average 7-9 fems for every 10 seeds of TGA so karma said "sorry Ocan not this time " lol
