its not white..its every color BUT white..thats why we see it as white

i forgot to encorporate the light bending effects that the earths atomosphere has on the light from the sun. ill figure it out myself.
So why does the Sun appear yellow here on Earth? The atmosphere of the Earth scatters sunlight, removing the shorter wavelength light – blue and violet. Once you reduce those colors from the spectrum of light coming from the Sun, it appears more yellow. But if you could fly up and see the Sun from space, the color of the Sun would be pure white.
I don't see the sun as white, do you? Looks pretty damn yellow to me.

Its coming up on a month with me noticing bmeats posts and he STILL amazes me with his endless stupidity. Either hes doing this on purpose or his IQ doesn't fall short of a mentally retarded child.

My thoughts exactly.

the color that we perceive the sun as, which is around 5000k, which is technically green.

to us it just looks bright, or light white light cause were so used to seeing it. the snow and ice just reflect the waves.

" By contrast, the Sun's surface temperature is approximately 5,800 K"

soo..why cant i use a 5500k for veg and flower? im just asking cause i honestly dont understand
So you're trying to say that ice and snow are green?
So explain then, what you said before about Polar Bears changing their color to the color of ice, why do the bears look white and not green?

and p.s. just becuase somethings in the shade doesnt mean light waves arent hitting it DUMBASS. if there were no light waves reflecting, it would be dark and you wouldnt be able to see it at all
Let me ask you a few questions. At absolute zero, would water be black? Or would the lack of light give you a perception that water is black? How would you know the water was there? What is absolute zero? What is the temperature of absolute zero in F? At zero kelvin, will a plant grow? Why or why not?

That may be too many questions for your simple mind to comprehend and it will explode. One could only hope... I mean I hope that doesn't happen.

Only because you opened your mouth on day one.

why do the bears look white and not green?
Interesting side-note:
Scientists in the late 1970’s discovered another interesting tidbit about polar bears. A number of polar bears in zoos from around the world were turning green! These scientists discovered that the algae responsible for making the bears green were not on the SURFACE of the hairs, as originally supposed, but were INSIDE the hairs (Lewin & Robinson, 1979). The algae more than likely came from the pond waters in the bears’ enclosures.

Btw, polar bears are black. That was probably mentioned somewhere already, along with the fact that their hair is not white but mostly transparent.

WRONG, polar bears are the color of ice. bmeat said it and it's true. Everything he says is just pure truth.

So, beat meat, you once said you were here to learn, but all you have done is spew worthless misinformation, argue with everybody, and ask noob questions like will FE leave a taste, is your plant ready yet, and other questions that were just so dumb that everybody glossed over them.
Why don't you try reading and trying to actually gather some information instead of insinuating, and sometimes even flat out telling people here that they are wrong, when it was YOU who admitted you are growing your FIRST plant.

Meanwhile, the zookeepers were in the back playing cards instead of cleaning the ponds.

Well, this one time it turns out he is almost right. Polar Bear hairs are the same color as ice - colorless and transparent:

I've seen this same general comment directed towards him like over 100 times already. given up, like that lincoln park song

I also find his use of "dick riding" pretty unorthodox

just like the color of the ice and the water..transparent..THEY ADAPATED TO THE ENVIORNMENT..you guys are so stupid. i explained this to you off the top of my head.

i was told in biology today that humans and bananas share 80% of the same genes, probably becuase of how much of them we ate as primates (which wasnt "that" long ago)

hermies are increasing becuase we are breeding that into them.

the enviornment makes the species. period period exclamation mark

i cant define zero mrshim, that is beyond chaos.

Why is this a discussion about science? Isn't it a discussion about your shitty plants and how you need to shut the fuck up and take advice from those who have been doing it for years? What you learned today in Biology eh? I'm pretty sure that's HS Biology. Now I understand why you come here every day around the time high school kids get out and spew utter random bullshit. It's what you just learned in school. People below 18 aren't allowed here.
