Yeah, that WAS my keeper. They are at day 53. Close, but still incredibly frustrating. I guess I'll just ride it out for maybe 7 more days and chop.
Also found a few nearly mature seeds. But... I'm not gonna waste my time with any seeds from plants that herm on me...
Still have 2 without nanners, but I bet they'll show any day now....

Hate to say it... but I don't think I'll be buying any more TGA beans for my cabinet. I was batting 1000 running clones, and was very pleased with the results. Not so much with seeds.
I don't do this for profit (in fact I don't sell ANY), but it's hard to justify all my hard work and fat electrical bills if I can't consistently supply myself with herbs that meet my standards. All I ask for is herb that I don't have to pluck a bunch of tiny little seeds from...

I don't think this is luck. So far this is 6/8 TGA beans I've flowered popping male flowers, while my previous clone runs in the same cabinet have been 100% female.
Again, I can't blame TGA genetics because obviously many people don't have a single problem. I guess I just don't want to spend another $90 on seeds and spend 4 months to MAYBE figure out why TGA beans don't like my cabinet.

At least there aren't TOO many white pistils left to catch the pollen from all the nanners I haven't found yet...

Be sure and clean(operating room clean) your entire flower chamber(and anything else that may be contaminated) from top to bottom after all this is over before starting anything else. Pollen has a way of hiding in the smallest of places only to pollinate things that you don't want pollinated when you least expect it.

Well, I've plucked a total of about 10 nanners from Plant #3 (my ex-fav) and only 2 from Plant #1 (1st to show nanners). They still seem to be fattening up nicely.
Checked the trichomes last night, and we're at mostly cloudy, a few still clear, and the odd amber trich here and there. Looking like less than a week til chop for a couple of them. Plant #4 shot out another wave on new calyxes, so it might need another 10 days or so.
Today is day 56... Pics soon.

I got 2 females from a 5 pack of cheese quake and both have showed herm tendencies in late flower. It seems the nanners form right in the thick of the bud which makes them pretty hard to spot. The seeds that I've found after harvest were few and far between and always white and premature. Pretty disappointing but I will say the bud is some of the dankest smelling stuff I've ever encountered and people that have smoked it loved it.

Yeah, I'm really just hoping we're far enough along in the game that the damage is minimal.
I always do a full clean of the room between rounds. This time I am even going to replace all the poly film that lines my walls.

Alright... I'm done being bitter. I just spoke on the phone with a friend in Atlanta... Talking to him about herb really put things in perspective. It could be A LOT worse. I've really got it made in the shade, even if I end up with a few seeds in my buds...
Anyway, just had to throw that out there. Feeling better, and looking forward to this harvest.

It does suck to get seeds in a plant when your going for top product, but in the large scheme of things its still pot and it will still get you high as FUCK

Another positive note is that Plant #2 (the shortest, chunky one) doesn't really have any white pistols left so it should be seed free (fingers crosses...).

It flat out sucks dude... The other night I went in to my garden to find the AOS I was in love with to have nanners as well as one of my spacedawgs....My last grow had a one of these that I didnt catch and ended up in the position you are, probably a lot worse, every plant in my garden had gotten pollinated... And I can deal with a seed here or there myself, its not a big deal but what kills me and really REALLY sucks when you have an accidental pollination (aside from the unusable seeds...) is that if its a hardcore pollination, they stop focusing on bud growth and focus their energy on the making of seeds so if you think you have some nice dank looking nugs there then you probably didnt get it too bad... Its when the pollen gets all over an individual plant... Getting some on a bud here or there or one branch will only screw that bud up but when the plant gets it all over it completely shifts into seed making mode and you get the shaft real hard.... I can live with some nanners on some dank but when those fuckers fuck your whole grow up like that.... not cool man.... Sorry to hear it and I know I'm not making you feel any better but...... your not alone? How that helps... not seeing it but I share your pain...

By the trichs, they are about equal, but by looks not so much. Plant #4 is still sprouting new pistils, Plant #2 all the pistils have died back, and it looks very close. The other two are in between somewhere.

Hey Spicy.Not to hate on Sub's forum,but i've been having similar issues with my cq and aos.I don't post much,but i'm no noob.I have jtr and space dawg up next.i'm beginning to wonder if i can expect these issues with them as well.What are you thinking of running next? I'm considering going back to mandala.Their stuff isn't as tasty as tga,but i don't remeber getting the nanners like i've been getting recently.Again, not trying to hate,but it sucks when you put in the work only to get a bunch of nanners.

Well, I have four clones of XJ-13 vegging right now, so they are up next. I've run the XJ-13 before, and I dig it. After that, I will either be running Chernobyl (local dispensary has clones), or I was also pondering a run of Serious Seeds AK-47. I'd hope the vender of those Chernobyl clones has selected a pheno which STAYS female.
I feel ya, man. It's awkward being honest about less than stellar TGA results with a TGA devoted group...

Seems risky to trust the club for stable, good cuts...most in my area are covered in mites and super hermed to phenos. If you are looking for something else to try, have you considered Rare Dankness?? Some their gear looks awesome!
