Will the big door be condemned? I would not block the door and let enough space to open it and place full of stuff and boxes in front to let know the garage is full and not accessible. Then make a fake sealed black wall behind the stuff. Else would not feel secure in a garage.

That's pretty funny lol
We will prob just board it up and never open it. The concrete and walls will be painted white.

How big will the flowering area be? Do you have an idea of what you are using for lighting?
I have another room in the house that im growing in currently its 10 x 10. Well prob make that into the vegging room and have the whole garage for a flowering room.

Cleaning out the garage today.
Still quite a bit to discuss and come up with ideas.

Is that garage attached to a trailer/modular home? Seen few identical to that always on the side of a trailer though.

Don't know how it works where you live but you never know what can happen like a city inspector - insurance company - police - neighbors looking at the house. Could we see your garage? NO? Why?

Awesome space.

Your CO2 generator is in place (power vent water heater).

Consider 2 medium AC's over 1 large. It sucks to loose a large crop when an AC stopped.

If its a rental home, it may be inspected by the city every few years. If it is owned, beware of switching home ins. companies as they will send an inspector to confirm people live there and the home is not in disrepair.

Good Luck and Happy Trails!

main thing im worried about is sky high electric bills.

well heres what we come up so far.
these are just rough drafts.
tell us what you guys think....
plan1plan1.jpgbig plants, 2 or 3 1ks on a light mover. also the plants will be staggered a week. so i will harvest 1 plant a week.
plan2plan2.jpg10 lights on alternating light schedules hooked up to duel port ballasts. when 1 room is on the other room is off, and vise versa.

I like the alternating rooms... I found the perpetual thing to be difficult with cleaning, maintenance and mold/mildew/pest control.

What about this. I like the idea of 2 seperate rooms. I like the second one with slightly smaller rooms...can keep wattage a little lower and have work space. you can expand that all the way into the first option. If you go wall to wall and have 2 rooms, you are goign to need a room in between so you dont get light leakage when you go from one flowering room to the next

Well here is more details on my home. I drew in half of my house that is connected to the room. The other half we dont want to do anything with.
We talked today, and he said he knows his system works so we will go with the separated rooms.
Not too worried about light leakage because they will be separated with a wall and doors.

We are still open to ideas and suggestions though!
