Is outdoor... Less then indoor? And why?

In my personal experience, outdoors is better than indoors. With the same phenotype, grown organically with same soil and nutes, and no deficiencies, and under optimum conditions, outdoor just seems to have a better aroma and potency compared to indoors. I even got a few rains on my outdoor buds last year and they still took the cake. Hell, I'm from VA and our conditions ain't no Cali but fair enough. But that's just my experience though...

ok so u mean to tell me that the type of light u use has an affect on the smell??? have u ever even grown before? ur from alabama correct? im pretty sure all ur guys' weed smells like hay anyways so there is probably not much validity to wat u say on this matter.

sunlight brings out more of the plants terpenoids which improves taste and smell.
outdoor weed,definitely tastes and smells better.

This debate is not going to satisfy everyone...there are proponents for both sides with equal value in what is being said. The question shouldn't be one of "which is better", but why isn't this medicine available to all who choose to use it?

Why the price difference, I would like to think it's because of the extra work it involves when growing indoor.

in my opinion, and most of you probably wont like it:

the best outdoor is much stronger than the best indoor, I don't care about flavor or anything else, the STRENGTH and LENGTH of the high is stronger than any indoor bud.

as someone who lives in a prime outdoor environment in nor cal, I can tell you I've probably tried more prime outdoor than I know what to do with, and plenty of prime indoor too.


you see, prime indoor can grow ANYWHERE there is electricity. prime outdoor cannot. thus, most people here who have tried prime outdoor and prime indoor are actually able to make a sound judgement because they have TRIED both.

my argument is, most indoor growers who think their bud is the best shit on earth, haven't tried prime outdoor because they do not live in the environment that supports prime outdoors and people who grow such prime outdoor bud don't often ship it across teh US....

not to mention. animals .. and shit..

all on skill and the other 10 factors.. free light the sun.. is always better for the grower u can make more money and get more per plant then u would indoors.. outdoors is cheaper cause its cheaper to grow.. if every plant costs u 100 bucks outdoors.. and u get a pound a plant.. u can sell that pound for 2500-3000 and make good money for ur labor... indoors.. its hard to grow pounds and pounds without using tons of electricity and nutes and controllers and shit.. that ya its going to be more expensive of course.. and also .. most indoors thats expensive.. tastes amazing smells bomb.. and more then likely was not covered in bugs for months..

i rather smoke indoors all day.. i smoke my outdoor hash though!!

to each their own. consensus up here in nor cal (way nor cal.) is that indoor bud isn't as good as outdoor and we're all outdoor growers out here, we try plenty of indoor bud when it comes our way but the outdoor always seems to be better. and most consumers of bud up here agree. but its all good as I said, to each their own.

its the connoisseur outdoor grower in a prime environment who will produce the highest grade bud of his/her preference (mine is indica/afghanis). if you live in a high desert area such as I, with low humidity and temperatures similar to those in afghanistan, you're gonna grow the best afghani/indica bud you can find. extremely high uv's that indoor bud cannot even match (out here we get 11+/16 on the UV scale...) beneficial desert bugs protect the plants and do not attack them. there isn't mold out here unless you grow your canopy too thick or your buds too dense(like giving them too much potassium to harden up the buds.) it really is the environment + the genetics + the grower + the tools the grower has access to. I have good water from my own well, I have good access to organic nutrients and good organic soil that I was able to truck in. I grow small plants and I don't grow for profit I grow for the highest quality for my stash and to share with friends and family. there are plenty of growers like me, but not as many as you'd think, probably less than 10% of the actual growers population. but once legalization hits they'll be wanting people like me to grow high grade outdoor for specific connoisseur markets, I'll guarantee you that.

I don't hate on sac people at all, I actually like the culture down there. I just think for indica dominant afghani type strains this climate up here is likely to be the best. the water is likely to be much better too. but its all relative every place has it's pros and cons, the main point of this thread is that dank outdoor is truly the best.

IMO I think indoor is way better than outdoor. Indoor has a much cleaner taste vs outdoor which has a lil dirty taste from the insect shit and dirt that sticks to the thrics. Dont believe me??? check it out under s usb scope and no matter who grew the outdoor stuff and how much they cared for it , there will still be a bunch of brown and black spots microscopic dots all over the meds

I'll admit the trim job is pretty terrible I think that pic was in the middle of trimming, but that bud would knock your dick to the dirt and you'd enjoy every minute of it.
