List of clubs that rip off vendors in Cali

This thread is for the expressed purpose of warning the community of those dispensaries who steal from growers. This is not for dispensaries who you feel charge to much or have inferior products. This is only to warn about thievery.

Also acceptable here would be dispensaries who've owed you a lot of money and didn't pay you in the agreed upon amount of time and instead only gave you a small amount (less than 10%) of what they owe you to shut you up. I know this is a common trick a lot of ponzi scheming dispensaries use. But please, be reasonable. Being a week late on an agreed upon payment is not the same as stealing. But if for example they've owed you $3k and said they'd pay you in 3 weeks, and it's been 2+ months and all you've gotten from them is $200, then yes, that's a ponzi scheme and everyone should be warned.

Please list as much relevant info as you can about the club in question.

Hate to put them on here because they used to be a great club. The owners are (or at least were) good people and everything. But their poor financial practices dictate that they must be put on this list.

Their "consignment period" is now ~6 months according to them. But the people I know who've vended there have only received a couple hundred dollars on tabs that are several thousand dollars and it took them over a year to get any money at all. Consignment means you get paid when you stuff sells. There is no reason it should take over a year to receive one small payment. I don't know what's going on with them. A couple of years ago they were doing well enough to where they bought their entire building. Now they are just a sad shell of what they once were. Something funny is going on here, I have my suspicions of what it is but have no first hand evidence so I won't go into that. The only thing relevant is that they are not paying their vendors in full.

If a place says they will have you cashed out in 5 days on a QP and it's been 14...does that count? So far I've seen 200 of the 700 of money they owe me. Was just trying to feel a few places out with a QP here and there.

The nature of this business seems to be disorganization. I have clubs that are late on payments all the time. If they don't pay you the rest in a timely manner, yeah. But give em a little time. If they can't pay up on that small amount of cash in another week, then yes, definitely should be here. That's a pretty small amount for them not to be able to pay.

That's smart to test em out with a q first. Good way to do it. Recently I've been doing the same thing with concentrates.

Yeah I don't feel safe dropping a large amount off to anyone without cash. But I've told the guy multiple times that if he has to pay out 700 dollars in payments...he needs to get his shit together. If you run a business of that nature and you don't have atleast a few grand laying around at all times...something is wrong.

Oh man there is sooo much I need to post in here.... I did outside sales in this industry...
What about fake bills?? We received fake bills from a dispensary in Oakland, to which they only covered half, not cool.

You mean you brought them the fake bills back and they'd only give you half your money? Yeah, that's stealing.

This is why I will grow my own and not get into vending. :( Good luck Dan and this list will go a long way if we can get a sticky and some more feedback from other vendors. :)

That's what I started doing last year except I would demand cash up front for the qp because like you just said if they don't have the cash there is something wrong!

I tried vending to greenway last year and they were interested in the kush I had but they wanted to low ball me on it even with lab tests to go with it... Now that Dan said there shady like that I'm surprised they didn't just take my offer and fuck me over

Greenway is kind of a weird case. I don't believe they are trying to rip people off, but that is the end result. A friend of mine has been owed almost 5 figures for over a year, and they have only managed to come up with $200 to pay him with. Something funny is going on if they can't manage to get together more money than that to pay him. And that's not the only story like that I've heard about them. I've been hearing similar tales of them taking a year plus to pay people on pretty small tabs.

There are always people in there buying stuff. They should be making plenty of money. They should be able to at least make decent payments to people out of the cash on hand. But they generally refuse to do so or make such tiny payments that they don't even put a real dent in what they owe. Judging by the amount of people coming in there I'd guess they are making ~$5-8k per day on the average. That's plenty of cash to run that business and still pay vendors. There is no reasonable excuse for that. Something funny is happening there that is draining all the money out of the club. What ever is draining the money out of it, it can't be related to the business it self. Nothing about running a small business like that is going to cost that much cash. With a club that size with that many employees even if they pay a huge amount of money for the building, there is no way it's costing them more than $30k a month to run that club. So they should be able to make up their expenses the first week of the month and the other three weeks should be all profit to them.

wow. what a piece of shit. It's incredible how many dispensary owners think they are entitled to do what ever they want and fuck over who ever they want. That guy really believed what he was doing was acceptable.
Growers need a Brute Squad to go break the legs of dispensary owners who don't pay.

best thing to do is walk away from the problem. count your losses and look at the experience you gained from this

Karma Collective in Garden Grove....

It's now been a month since i dropped a QP there to test them out....the told me 3 days to come back with the ticket and cash out. I've watched the stuff come off weedmaps weeks ago....i text him every day....he always gives me a day and when the day comes he makes an excuse. I'm not very good at keeping my composure in situations like these....and $700 is really unnoticed missing...but it's just the concept behind it. If you run a fucking business....and you don't have small amounts of money like that available...you should go into something else because you obviously fucking suck at running a business. I've heard every excuse in the book. I've told them I will go to the internet and ruin there business and make sure I'm personally responsible for them losing much more then 700 dollars and that's exactly what I'll be doing at this point.

I don't even want the money anymore....I want to watch them fail miserably.

Well, when there's a glut of product out there.... they can screw everyone over (but their biggest suppliers) and still have people lining up to drop product off. The whole process is fucked up and probably won't get better anytime soon. I'm surprised the list isn't much bigger, from what I'm hearing!
