NP. I think something like 40% of all corn produced is used solely for ethanol production. I know 100% of mine is, I take it to the plant myself. Oh wait, I misspoke, I actually hire someone else to take it to the plant, I just sit around eating steak and lobster and check the mailbox once a day for my gubmint chekz.

I would grow plenty of shit without subsidies, just not corn. The only thing that makes corn so damned valuable is THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT!!!!! Otherwise its use is mainly as cattle feed. Oh sure they makes plenty of corn syrup out of it and other byproducts, but Ethanol production subsidized by taxpayers is way way more lucrative.

Only the stoopid who want their farm to bankrupt itself and then lose it all would stop taking the subsidy. I don't consider myself all that intellectually lacking.

a latino grocery store? like a carniceria or something? we have one of those here, turns out a lot of non-latinos frequent it, too. people like me who bug the store to order in some colita de pavo once a week. they have all the foods listed in english, oddly enough.

i know bi-mart caters exclusively to bisexuals, but i had no idea there were stores that catered exclusively to latinos.

I see it constantly and I shop at a mostly latino grocery store. Wife has a cart overflowing with food ( good food, steaks, chicken, seafood etc etc ), her husband is walking around checking out all the younger chicas, the 4 kids under the age of 8 are running wild through the aisles and the fifth kid is still baking inside Mami's belly oven. Then she whips out the ol' Star's and Stripes EBT card, pays for their $280 shopping spree before loading it all into the back of a fairly new crewcab pickup truck and off they drive into the sunset. It's amazing really, what a country we have become.

Except for the likelihood that it's entirely true. Of course, I see similar circumstances here in NC, except it's rednecks AND Latinos getting into the big ass newish pickup truck after buying a shitload of groceries with a food stamp card.
