That's a relief, I thought we were heading for a second round of recession.

I can't believe the president said this with a straight face.
Even the lefties on this forum know he's a liar, otherwise, why would they be still be blaming trickle down economics and Bush if we were doing so fine! LOL

record profits, sitting on trillions, 4 million new jobs over the last 24 years.

i'd say the private sector is doing just fine too.

it's the middle class and working poor that are hurting, not the private sector businesses.

If you go to recovery.gov it will explain the metrics used to achieve the 4million created or saved number. It was estimated with the 1st stimulus passed using metrics such as 4% growth of GDP annually. Even though most of the metrics used to come up with this number were a gross over exaggeration the administration continues to state it as fact. The economists hired by Obama himself to continue with updates on the site have stopped. This is in violation of the act itself but nobody says anything because the updates don't match the rhetoric.

So if anyone repeats the lie of 4 million jobs created they prove what ignorant partisan lying hacks they are. I'm not judging, i'm just sayin..... when created 4M jobs is in your post as a fact it's hard to believe anything you post. Directed at nobody in particular, everyone in general.

edit: that may be harsh, why shouldn't we be able to believe the president, I guess i don't blame people for repeating wrong numbers they want to believe.

The closer we get to the election, the more the president seems to misspeak. Nerves, I guess.

Presidential brain damage. Same thing affected W. When he was governor, he could speak at length with facts, figures and multi-syllable words... after becoming Prez, he could barely put more than 2 words together without stumbling.
Ask a sensitive question and it gets worse.
Uh, uhm, aah, you know, basically, duh, aah, um, I mean, uh, uh , uh, well, uh, uh, uh, there you go.

well you know, the Pres is prolly #1 politician in THE WHOLE WORLD. when they are on the spot they sound stupid because they have a million cameras in their face, up their ass etc and if they misspeak they get crucified for it. one bad word can now ruin a career. Hell if you hollar loud enough your campaign is done for. MSM is like the kids who never learned to share or get along with the other kids on the playground, they use every underhanded trick to gain the upper hand, psychology.
