But you make that your sole argument, of course, immediately play the race card when you have no other argument.

All the time every time UB and Obama... Every Obama economy expert has been WRONG about the way our Economy is heading.

To be perfectly honest we have done tax cuts for like the last 10 years..starting with Bushy Jr...I have one question after 10 years of tax cuts WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE JOBS...people wake the fuck up..if we are getting tax cuts after 10 years of doing so ...do you really think they are going to start if we gave more...
So you believe it is better to have the money in the governments hands than the people that actually earned it. Because the government will make better decisions with our money? I dont get this logic.

the government can infuse demand into the market, do you see any uber wealthy doing creating jobs right now? no. why? because no point in hiring without any demand in the market.

it's a vicious cycle that you koch suckers are exacerbating by hollering for massive cuts and screaming for no return to previous, successful clinton-era tax levels while unemployment is still high.

bunch of fucking pawns.

We witnessed Obama's attempt to infuse demand, it wasnt very helpful was it?

people don't want anything anymore. they have realized you don't need a bunch of crap in order to be happy. people have lost everything and they are still happy. you need a "market" before jobs can be created to fill it. people are waiting for something that is non existent.

good luck.

there used to be 3 stores in my town for everything. need new grips for my seadoo, there were 5 places i could go to get them 3 years ago. all those businesses are closed now. today, i simply go online and choose from twice the selection. i can shop at my will and leisure, i don't even have to leave the house. those local businesses will NEVER reopen.

It wasn't big enough; While it's true it didn't work as well as advertised, it had a net positive effect on the economy.

To prove my point, I challenge you and ayone else willing to try to find empirical evidence that the Obama stimulus had a negative effect on the economy.

Not a negative effect!!But not worth the money that was tossed at the problem.
Which our government caused in the first place with their stupidity.

When someone half-asses something, do you just leave the job unfinished or do you go back and do it right (or make them do it right, w/e)?

You finish the job, right? how is this any different? The longer we wait, the worse the problem will get - and the more expensive it'll be to fix.

We dont agree often if at all...but I think i might be with you here.....are you referring to our governments lack of oversight on the banking system and specifically on the sub prime mortgage mess that created the real estate bubble to begin with?

No, he is going to say that the government got in the way and fannie and freddie fuck cows and that the solution is to de-regulate the financial system.

That's what they all say.

LOL thanks.

I remember years ago when everyone I knew and worked with was obsessed with buying a home. The prices here (coastal New England) are high to begon with, but during the bubble it was crazy. People paying $200,000 for a fucking seasonal cottage and stuff. I remember saying to my wife "what if home values actually drop, we'll be screwed and have an underwater mortgage, we'll wait honey."

I held off and invested that $ into my business instead of buying and being sucked into the sub prime scam.....8 years later I now own a home thats twice as nice as I could have bought back then...all my friends either lost their homes or sold and are back to renting.

Anyone that wants to blame the subprime scam on Fannie is simply wrong and ignorant to facts and history.. Period.
