I just need to conect the hose to the Fill fitting and set it on top of the reservoir.
Wow , I just built this mini Flood and Drain and I only spent $7 for the fittings. Everthing else , I scrounged up from my shed after storing for a few years.

Here are a few more pics of system at work . I added food coloring so you can see the water.
The first pic is the airstone at work.
The second pic is the water filling up.
The third pic is the water reaching the overflow tube and draining back into the reservoir.

I should have no problem setting six , 4" blocks in here for vegging under the T-5's.

Very cool man, I love that use found things because that truly is recycling. That looks just as good as any one of those pre-built setups from any hydro shop. You've actually inspired me to do my own setup using your main table design. Mine is identical except it's 2 2"x3" tables (cement mixing tubs like Homebrewer uses) feeding off 1 27g res. Everything else is identical for the most part though and I even made a PVC table using your same design and it works great! Good to see your new editions, I think a bi-monthly harvest is perfect. I would maybe consider getting a 4" blower and some hose and or even a carbon filter if you need it and hook it to that sweet hood of yours. Then you could connect the hose to a vent in the wall or top of thecloset door and have a passive air intake under the door to keep it shut and locked at all times. You can get a Rubbermaid bin and a piece and wood and screw the blower down into it then stuff it full of poly fill and pop the lid on to dampen the noise too. Stays perfectly cool with all the air rushing through it. Subscribed for this one too! Peace. :)

Here are a few pics of my current grow. These are still in the 6" Rockwool blocks. This is day #30 of 12/12 . These clone are doing okay but could have been better. I had to change suppliers and hope to be doing my own from now on.

I tried to take 10 clones from the girls as I went to 12/12 and I got 6 of them to root. Nothing to brag about but they have roots. I put these into 4" Rockwool blocks this morning and will be feeding them at 1/3 strength. I plan to veg these until my current harvest is ready and I will plant these babies on top of two slabs. I will have them under a 400W MH until ready to switch over. I will also take more clones and keep things going. I think I might like to make 2 extra clones and veg them into mothers so I can take stronger , bigger clones. This is new territory for me and I have a learning process to go thru. So please dont laugh too much at my tiny clones.

Here are some pics of my grow op this morning. I just got a new phone last night so I am trying out the camera. A little different for me . I am old enough to remember rotory dial phones.
My clone experiment is starting to look a little better. Roots are growing and things are getting greener. The T5 light was a good investment. Gonna have to buy another one in a couple months. Twice the light in the veg/clone cabinet. So far , they are paying for themself. I didn't have to buy six clones at $20 a shot and I spent less than that on the light and rockwool.
Also are a few pics of my current grow op. Oh darn . The buds are getting so fat that I have to tie up the buds with string because they are wanting to fall over. What a problem to have , lol . They are about right on time. Tomorrow will be six weeks.. Two weeks to go.

Lovin' your grow dadio. I'm setting up a system right now that should be pretty similar..2 x 6 under a 600, rockwool only. I'm working with seeds so I'll probably use 4 x 4 blocks until I sex and then put the ladies on slabs. How often are you watering?

Its crazy how a little bit bigger block has so much more root volume... 4x4x4 = 64, vs 6x6x6 = 216! Are you going to stick with the 6's with your perpetual grow? Keep those harvest shots comin and thanks for sharing :peace:

wow. What a week it has been. I finished my harvest , dried well and into jars. I was able to achieve 12 ozs dry from five ladies. I was very happy with my results. Pics of the jars to come. I cleaned up the tray and am hitting the ground running again.

Okay , started my new current grow today. This is two nice clones of FLO and two nice clones of Blueberry. The two runts are Blueberry . The two runts are clones that just wouldn't die and just started to give new hope of life so they get one last chance to live in the tray. I will top the four larger clones tomorrow and just let the runts grow. I had every intention of putting these babies onto slabs but couldn't do it. As I have always said before , I like to move the girls around and I wouldn't be able to if they were on slabs. I instead put the 4" blocks on top of 6" blocks. This should give the girls a lot more room for root mass and I only lose 4" of height from my normal set up. I will leave these babies under my 400W MH for 7 to 10 day. Just long enough for the roots to expand. About a week after I change to 12/12 and a 600W HPS , I will take a new set of clones and keep on truckin' . I made these clones from the ladies I just harvested so I didn't have to buy them . Still a learning process for me.

Right on man, another great harvest in the bag, or jar as the case may be, haha!

What I'm doing this round, because I have to sex some stuff out, is I got the 3" tall x 4" blocks to veg in, then once sex is established I'll move them to 3" tall x 8" slabs. I just buy the 3"x8"x 3' slabs (the 3"x6"x3' work just as well too, I used those last round but wanted to go a hair bigger this time because the price was only a couple bucks) and chop them into squares with a big ass serrated kitchen knife. I cut right through the plastic and everything like butter. Then I cut a 4" 'X' on the top of the block plastic and then peel back the triangles and put the veg block in the hole. Then I arrange the slabs with blocks on them so that the open ends of the plastic on the slabs is facing towards the drains so no water gets trapped in them. Works super good and I can still keep my floods down to manageable levels because my height is still at 6". If I don't have to sex stuff then I use the 6" blocks love them! =)

I was thinking of doing the same thing with slabs and then just decided to use the 6" blocks underneath. I can work with the height. For the future , I am thinking of increasing to 8 plants and just vegg them to 12" and do a faster crop. Then height will never become an issue with my grow.

Okay, after smoking a few bowls this morning, I decided to get started on making that cabinet for vegging and making clones. This is the closet space I have to work with . Outside dimentions for the cabinet are 44 1/2 " wide , 24" deep , 42" High. This is a pic of the bottom floor. Was outside today enjoying the sunshine and trying to pre build what I could outside and make it kind of a kit.
Smoking a bit of my last harvest so lets see how this pans out.

Fuck Dude, ya sure that weed you're smokin isn't laced with coke?? I smoked a couple of bols this morning and grabbed a coffee and had to ask the wife to hand me the remote..............................Jesus christ!!
