iv'e used them before they helped alot with watering and when im hiking 6 hours carrying water back and forth they help a bunch.

He must have some sensitive taste buds is all i can say..lol...cause i never any plastic. Not saying he's wrong but he is so organic he's blind to any synthetic's maybe.

I have some left over from last year and im using them in my farthest holes and i bet no one that smokes it tastes plastic.

my thought on the water crystals is, in growing cannabis you need to allow the soil to dry out in between waterings, this product will make this quite difficult and may cause root rot with in-ground plantings, thats my thought on the topic, but given your situation your plants are going to suffer by only being able to haul a small amount of water, come flower time those girls will be drinking like fish, last year ours drank almost 10 gal's a piece towards the end. just giving you some insight, hope this helps

hello everyone its now day 26 for the young ones, and i must say they are looking very healthy! since last time i have topped 8 plants, so far everything is going perfect. With the recent rains we have made significant progress on the holes, and tonight hopefully being the last frost, the babies will be seeing the sun very soon!
