Has anyone ever used OVERDRIVE by Advanced Nutrients?

I use Hammerhead and Hornsbys Big Bud with great results
I've used Overdrive in my own grows - and I've found my harvests were HUGE as a result. I really like Advanced Nutrients as a whole, though it took me a while to learn how they all work together.

At first, I just piece-mealed it (and sometimes still do - tough times, you know), but I'm finding the more AN products I use, the better things grow and the more I'm getting out of each grow.

dont mean to hijack but anyone use bud factor x or kushie kush both by advanced mainly im interested in bud factor x.

I used Overdrive this week in my feeding and now my buds smell really funky like a real stanky lavender. Is this normal? Will the smell go away once I leach the plant in the last two weeks of flowering? Speaking of that, I used all organic ferts during grow, do I really need to flush? I was planning on using straight water for the last two weeks to use up the nutrients. Will this be ok, or do I have to lug 12 plants in 5 gallon bags up to my bathroom again!@!

shysters why do you say that. yes pricey i agree but they test there products on cannabis which most companies do not. in fact they face much scrutiny from the canadian government because of this practice. your not going to get better results with miracle grow thats for sure.

Such shysters are only out to cater to the needs and wants of their clientele.
I was wondering if uncle ben was coming to the party, read his post u might think twice about spending 100's of dollars every month or so on all the AN products, he knows whats up. However if u like AN products and dont mind spendin ur benjamins im all for it, if its workin dont fix it, and for the record ive used AN Revive and its worked for me

everyone on the internet knows whats up where you been lol. that said a.nutrients are expensive but if you do a miracle grow fert regimen next to a a.nutrients nutrient regimen with two identical clones which is gonna give you better results? yes there expensive but they are tested on cannabis which is more than can be said for most other ferts. i dont use an exclusive line of anything but like the results i get with some advanced products. lately i have used bud factor x and gotten great yields while dealing with heat bugs etc...

ok for one over drive is def not molasses... Bud candy is molasses and carbo load. over drive makes ur nugs grow out fatter. big bud makes ur buds grow taller. final phase doesnt make ur bud taste good, it tells the plant to use all the stored nutrients.... so i guess it could make it taste better technically

You're right - Final Phase helps your harvest taste better by taking out all of the extra chemicals which might be hanging out in the plant.

The product itself doesn't provide a clean taste.

Actually, Final Phase is a product that helps to flush your plant's roots so that you don't get a crappy chemical taste. A lot of growers I know use just a lot of water, but sometimes that doesn't quite work.

From what I can tell and what I've done in the past, you use the Advanced Nutrients Final Phase about 7 to 10 days before you want to harvest. It's really easy to do. And while I don't use it each and every time, I can totally see a difference.

But, to each their own, you know? Who knows what might work better for you and for your grow room and your time constraints.

This is all I do, so maybe I just have too much time on my hands to try out all of the specialty products out there...

actually bud candy and carboload do contain molasses but that is not the only ingredient they contain a large amount of deoxy ribose which is an expensive type of sugar found in all liviing cells its used by humans after heart surgery or by athletes to speed recovery. basically it is highly bioavailable and able to enter cells to be rapidly turned into energy faster than any other carbohydrate aside from that those products contain amino acids vitamins and minerals as well as various plant extracts. i use molasses when on a budget but prefer a.nutrients carb products when i can get them.

So I used this stuff on my last grow and was happy with my resulting nugs it is supposed to extend the flowering phase for an extra 5 days or more and this is the time when the buds put on the most weight. I am not a fan of extending my crop cycles but the product works and the logic is sound. I will use it again and let my plants go as long as possible...

Put it simple, Carboload is "Unsulfur Blackstrap Molasses" (100% organic carbohydrates) plus some other staff. Just buy Unsulfur Blackstrap Molasses; better from sugar cane, it's cheaper (about $2.00 a pound). Don't get the "sulfured" one.

1. Just warm some water, mix the amount o molasses you want to use and apply this to you reservoir. Some people recommend 1 tbsp/gal (15 ml/gal); aprox 4ml/L. I use less, 2-3 ml/L.

2. I Highly recommend you to apply some micro organism, micorrhizae o bacteria, since you put your ladies into vegetative period, to avoid bad micro organisms infestation, and to help the symbiosis that helps the grow of the root system that helps the nutrients intake.

3. One alternative for Bud Blood is Phosphoload, expensive as Bud Blood which a haven't tried; but phosphoload is excellent. The active ingredient in these products is a bonsai hormone known as Butrazol that stops the vegatative grow and promotes bloom grow, but you should be very careful. I apply phosphoload (plus Piranha/Tarantula together, nothing else) only two times, the first and second week of blooming. After that I apply Big Bud for 2-4 times depending in the variety and the blooming period. Too much phosphoload develop "stones", but you don't get 'to see' the "crystals." Too much Big Bud extra-develops the female pistile which gives a no good looking. That is my experience.
