My girlfriend flipped out

It was meant to be figurative here let me put it this way: People who don't smoke are closed minded and often against the idea of drugs. People who do drugs (like some of the people on this site) know the truth and are open to the idea that sometimes drugs can better one's life.
To make a long story short If smoking killed "any" of my brain cells, it killed the ones that make me close minded to change and the unkown (and all that other funky hippie phychedelic type o-shit!)

This world is a lot bigger than drugs and laws, and the people that live here have you ever seen a shaman from Brazil talk to 12 pink dolphins? (one of the rarest freshwater dolphins)
Figured it was figurative.. I know what you mean.. :blsmoke:

did anybody see the study that proved that marijuana can actually stop the growth of cancer in its early stages?

Probably the same one I seen that said it can prevent lung cancer...

My sister actually showed me some pictures she took in the Amsterdam Museum of Marijuana and this wrinkly lady put a drop of some derivative of marijuana on her face and within 10 minutes it looked like she had a face lift.

Since Marijuana is illegal in the US they dont study it as much as they should. Marijuana is has super healing powers!

While it would be premature to extrapolate the study's findings to humans, at a minimum, the data reinforce the notion that cannabinoids are unusually non-toxic to the brain and that even long-term use of marijuana likely represents little risk to brain function. The findings also offer further evidence that cannabinoids can play a role in the alleviation of depression and anxiety, and that cannabis-based medicines may one day offer a safer alternative to conventional anti-depressant pharmaceuticals such as Paxil and Prozac.

---Ive been smoking to help me with Bipolar disorder (which is proven effective by science but has also proven true by personal experience.)

I am a Psyc major Mastering in Applied Psychology (which is basically reading APA research papers and conducting research.) I would love to study herbal biology to see if this "regeneration effect actually occurs. As much as I love marijuana and as much as I would love this to be true, We gotta do the proper research in a controlled environment on humans! This doesn't prove anything; but damn that sounds like something I would love to focus my research on!!!!!!

Just some advice when reading research, always know where the source came from and who paid to have the study done. Just as studies that say marijuana kills and all that other bogus shit, the same study done by another person yields entirely different results. The truth is we really don't know all that much about the brain or how it functions. I doubt it is that analogous to a computer, but that is our best understanding at this point. I prefer to read research put out by APA.org because they set the standards for all research methodology. Not just any hack with a pencil and an opinion can falsify facts. Not that APA is perfect either, but they only publish maybe 10 papers out of 1000. Pop psyc pisses me off because it makes the answers to tough questions like "what is the meaning of life" and "where do we go when we die" all that much more elusive!

well of course. its all subjective. people set up the test for the results they want. even if they dont get the results they want the results are still going to be different then if they had set up the test for a different result or just any result.

stupid example first thing that came to mind but here goes:
"are all apples red?" so you are going to set the test up to prove or disprove that question the answer is obviously no, but the real question that should be ask is "what color are apples?" which would be red, green, yellow, which is a way more accurate answer.

Girls are everywhere, just go to a bar. One girl isn't the world. If you stay with her then I doubt she'll change and someday be cool with it. That being said you have a mission my friend, big stinky buds. You can always get a new girlfriend, but if you stay with her it could be the last harvest of your fucking LIFE.
