Querkle Uncured High Report

Here is a Querkle I grew from seed. I planted 2 and one was male so this is my querkle (tho I do believe i got 8 more seeds to plant over the next few years). So this took around 5 days to dry in 70d 50%humiditiy. I shall now take a bongload and see what I think of this strain... My first time smoking it. I chopped this plant on week 9 day 3.

Ok, very couchlocked. I'm comfortably sitting and falling slowly and gently into my couch. I hate this couch but it feels very comfy right now. There is a nice steady euphoria and colorfulness alongside the high. This high makes me feel like its saturday morning and cartoons are on and I have a bowl of fruity pebbles. There is a very very nice happy euphoria to this strain which I am thrilled to find after hearing hwo Indica it was. The sativa euphoria and the indica stone however do not feel separate, more it feels like a euphoric type of couch hug. Really very nice. I feel no pain in my muscles, my body feels extremly relaxed. My mind is relaxed but I can focus on things without confusion, and it has a euphoric happy childlike wonder to it. This high makes me feel like i'm a little kid for some reason, all happy and relaxed and not knowing anything, lol. My digestion feels fantastic. This is a great strain if you are using it for med reasons, and if you dont have med reasons this is also a great high strain! Its not overly potent but its very very very strong. This feels like it would be paranoia free weed, as I feel so comfortable and relaxed. truth be told I packed a fat bowl and took 3 hits off it to finish it off, but to be fair I dont try to see what my lungs can take when I smoke, I rarely hold it in other than deep inhate after smoke just because I dont think its healthy and you get just as high without it.

wow, i'm really sinking into the couch and suddenly i'm starting to feel relaxed and sleepy. I feel like I could go nap after one bongload. This pot would be ideal to reading comic books, vegging in front of television or to stereo, or if you are on a road trip sitting in the back of the car for a long time without much room to move. It enhances your experience with its light cartoonish look to things, and its happy smiley euphoria, but also totally makes your body feel painless.

You could play video games on this, but I would avoid multiplayer stuff as you might veg a little and piss everyone off. Also you kinda contently want to relax on this more then try to stress in a video game. watching a video game would rock on this tho.

Great smoke. I'm very very happy with this. It has better euphoria than the pinapple express, but weaker in the visual trips (of course the pineapple expresses visuals are out of control). Its a very nice soft happy high and this weed on a bad day will instantly give you a good day, especially if you have something to do that you can take your time with.

Well thats the last of my four strains I was growing reviews, next smoke report wont be till these new 4 seedlings which popped up yesterday. I'm very happy with my four choices to grow, G13 Pineapple Express, DJ Short F13, Reserva Privada RKS, and TGA Subcool Querkle. Of these the dankest looking was Querkle, the dankest smelling (depending on your taste) was between PE and Q, The biggest yield was PE.

I give this Querkle an A because it is useful for a lot of situations, from digestion to pain to euhporia, to altered perception. Its just great weed and the nugs look like they got purple polkadots inside when you break apart the dense nugs.

When I start regrowing old strains i've done i'll defiently grow this again, along with vortex and flav and chocolope.

Looks like i'll be only smoking on these 4 for the next few months, so if anyone has questions about them I'll have the experience smoking it to answer them. Aloha

Never come across of any past forum/smoke report Querkle feedback and thank you for a very informative smoke report. I like your commentary on it's merits for pain releif with euphoria. You really captured the essence of the high experience. rep +

I didn't see any purple until week 8. I thought it was full of crap. but they didn't turn purple, but whenever i break open a nug there are purple colored polka dots everywhere inside and looking at the outside its green with purple. It is superior in my opinion than an all purple strain because you actually see the purple compared witht he green. The nugs are not purple but they do have like 40% purple in the form of polkadots as I like to put it

Wow beautiful!!! Already purpling!!! mine didnt' show a hint of purple until week 8 of flower, but our temps are pretty warm here. You will love it, my querkle plant just smells so candy and during flower it was grape koolaid with extra sugar smell. the high is very happy and very relaxing and kills pain and helps nausea. High quality stuff! Congrats!

1 - Purple Stems could be a result of that wonderful thing we call genetics, if this is the reason, you are to expect a purple stem throughout the life of the plant. It must be noted that purple stems aren’t a dominant trait, and are rarely genetically induced.

2 - A baby sprout with a purple stem is almost always 100% natural. Young seedlings are still adjusting to their environment and may be slightly lacking in a Nutrient. If this is the case, healthy plants will regain their green/greenish-brown color within a few days to a week or two.

3 - If you have ruled out the possibilities of genetics and the seedlings adjustments to life, you should begin looking for a nutrient deficiency. Purple stems are commonly caused by a Phosphorous (P) or Magnesium deficiency, if there is a P deficiency you may also notice symptoms such as brittle leaves or greyish spots. To assist the uptake of Phosphorous (as well as most other nutes) you should ensure the pH is slightly acidic-- 6.0 will suffice.

-A lot of seedlings have purple stems, probably will grow out of it, sorry to say. But the thing Querkle as I'm sure you know, Guys at subcool ran a test (so I'm told) where they had 4 out 5 turn purple...pretty good odds.

But just wanted you to know that the purple stems are rarely a genetic trait, since it is recessive.

Hope this helps!

Also- Try and get those CFL's closer you seem to have a little stretching if you can put a finger inbetween the bulb and the plant without burning then the light can stay that close, I have clones touching flouros constantly

bro i hate to burst your bubble and nice thought out post but i wasnt asking about purple stems. i was asking tardis if he has a pheno that goes purple early like the 1's i have. if u look at the pictures my new growth which is the leaves that are going purple not the stems. also reason why they look stretch is cux i dont like my young seedlings to be to close to the light these are only bout a week old atm and i have transplanted and buried my stem so their nice and short and the light is alot closer now.

VERY NICE REPORT! REP. I just grabbed CH9 Seeds California recently. it's a ( Querkle x CH9 Jack33) . One of my only reasons for buying it was the fact that it was a Querkle cross and it had a nice selling point in the description. But Querkle sounds DELICIOUS!

OMG I smoked some Querkle last night after it cured, my god it tastes better and the high gets stronger... WOW. I absolutly love subcools gear which is why instead of just 1 subcool plant this time around 4 of my 7 are subcool gear this time. (cheesequake, apollo 13 x vortex, jilly bean, chernobyl). I look forward to testing more of his gear.

awesome smoke report man +rep, I've got 5 Querkles for my first grow that just hit week 4 of flower! If you don't mind me asking how long do you suggest to flower?

Since Querkle is an indica I say the longer the better to get that stoney effect. But their is also that happy euphoria to it. And its been getting even STRONGER in cure. I'd let it go until the trichomes had some amber to them so i'd say 9 1/2-10 weeks.

I've been trying to find some information on the Querkle strain and this is very helpful. Thank you!
How much did you yield off of it? and under what light, veg times, etc.

I had a row of flourecents for veg, but flowered outdoor in the pacific, and I didn't weight it but it filled a jar and a quarter so i'd say perhaps a little over an ounce. but i only vegged for 3 weeks and they do not nearly veg as fast as when under an MH, and our island sun is a bit stronger than hps, so it would be hard to judge for an indoor grower. It is not a monster yielder at all and i'd suggest vegging 2 months for a serious yield, but I will say unlike other subcools stuff i've grown, the nugs on querkle are very dense and very heavy (and when i break them open they have purple polkadots which look fantastic (and scared me thinking it was mold breaking them open stoned) and they just smell so grapey. and to me the flavor in your mouth after is like you just ate a bowl of lucky charms in 2% milk. Not strong, but that IS what my mouth tastes like after exhale. Sorry, i love my jar of querkle and i know when it runs out it will be too soon. I only vegged 3 weeks because i had to put outside to flower to travel on family emergency.

Wish I knew more about normal setups (but I dont flower indoor because i just can't control the temps here enough to flower in)

I had my doubt bout the querkle. You know... "Is it that purp??" "Is it like the grapes I get and friends love?"
With this smoke report i am convinced that it is if not better. I think (quiet sure) the Space Queen adds a sativa touch. The "euphoria" you described. Usally the grapes get me stupid sleepy. Enjoyable but still after bout 2.5 gs im drooling.
Also after bout a week of blowing on the urkle its not the same.
So hows the ceiling??
SN: +rep great description

It does have a bit of a ceiling because it is more indica stone that sativa high, so to raise that sativa euphoria you also add a bit of couchlock limiting it. I get very stoned on this while being euphoric and happy whereas with vortex i'd get very euphoric on it while being stoney and happy. the indica stone keeps me from truely effectivly checking the ceiling... however my RKS by reserva privada has no ceiling but still is nowhere near as good as this querkle to me.
