Waste your money how you want .My hard earned dollars get spent wisely . Money cannot buy the knowlage learned you experiance building your own grow . You could grow out a couple hundred plants for that much money is why everybody is freaking on you . That and 99 % of the people here are DIY oriented .You really learn alot about growing and why they need a certain enviroment . So if you thought you was gonna be cool because you spent 2500 on 500 dollars worth of stuff your mistaken . It's sad you have to result to name calling and such attitude on here ,we are all here for a reason and thats not worth getting burned up over us razzing you over buying your overpriced grow "kit" . i am not the one resorting to name calling. i am an excited newbie that wanted to share my experience and i immediately got blasted on your forum....nice welcome into the industry. here is the thing....you do not know much about this system. i have learned an incredible amount about what i am doing and why i am doing it. i also supplement this knowledge with a lot of reading...i am excited about the process and the results. this seemed like a good way for me to get into growing while working with the 1 - bedroom apartment that i have. i don't have the room to build my own system....i have no storage space, other tenants live in my apartment, and i have this in my kitchen......i had to get something that would work for this situation. i love diy. i am an avid wood worker and have a plethora of tools, but right now i have no shop.....i have no place to put this stuff and the SuperCloset was the perfect solution.......i was fired up to share with fellow growers an all i have gotten is crap....you guys pass judgement all you want.....lame.

Agreed. Seriously I think I'm spending 3500 on my fruiting room (SOG style op) and it's going to be a lot more biologically productive than that setup (granted it is about a grand more). Then again I am going a bit overboard on somethings (i.e using only the best digital ballasts, using Magnum XXXL hoods, using the best 1000w bulbs, and getting a CO2 burner, Dehydrator, and Sulfur burner). If I really wanted to be cheap about it I could spend only $2500 and have a really rad setup still. To give you an idea of how far my $3500 estimate is going (of which 50% is bought), it includes expanded clay pellets, 4 water pumps, 4 air pumps+airstones, 4 res, 4 flood tables, 85 pots, various timers and sensors too, 2 1000w lights with lumatek ballasts and magnum XXXL hoods, 2 1000w Hortilux HPS bulbs, and 2 vortex fans, Plus all that other crap I wrote above. If you build things yourself and buy things from various sellers you can get some really good deals online, especially if you build up buyer and seller relationship with people.

If need be you can always make a decent cabinet setup for $700 bucks and a really good one for $1000. Thats what pisses me off when these sellers do huge markups (it costs them way less than 700 bucks to make your cabinet since they buy in bulk).

P.S. sorry if I'm sounding like a hater. Thats not my intention. I really just hate how these prefabricated grow ops ripoff the community. I also hate how anything weed related instantly has a 200%-500% mark up over it's non-weed related counter part. My best example is a flood tray for plants costs $70 bucks, but if you buy this same tray at home depot (it's called a concrete mixing tray or a plastic utility tub) they only charge you $11.95 and it's larger too!

I was looking for a cheap tray. I ended up building one with a few pieces of wood, and an old pool...cost about $4 haha

You have a nice set up clean functional you said you were intimedated from the start up this got you over that hump and on to growing which is the most important here. Some have different gifts from our creator like building, designing, and shit.

I find since i have been hanging around and then convincing myself to get started that there is a lot of ways to do the same thing you take it all in with respect then do what is best for you. Lern to ignore the haters and in the end final decision is yours responcibility, no one is going to replace your $$, time, seeds, power,nutes, electricity, and in a unfrendly state your freedom. So stand by your own decisions.

Me thinks that that person might be hatin cause you even have that kind of money to spend i know i dont. The fact that there is so many ways to do the same thing, egos, smokin shit, jealousy, all these things cause a lot of contriversy.

I totally switched to flower too late and my Warlock is growing dangerously close to the lights......I am three weeks and a day into flower.....am I going to have an issue?

The stretch should stop soon. You might be able to get by.

stretch is only first 1/3 of flower

stretch is based on percentage of indica (will double at flower)and percentage of sativa ( will triple at flower)
so if your plant is a 100% of either there you are if your plant is a mixture you gott a do some math to calculate it out for a idea of fininish time

but no matter what anybody or any web site say you must go by trichs and when plant looks ripe (with color) like a piece of fruit
i normally start to flush a week befor im told it finishes then i give water and replace food with molasses while im watching plant for signals of being finish

if stretch t akes you into the lights you can always supercrop the beotch -pinch and bend

You can bend those plants over and tie them down so you have room.

Hey man, congratulations on your Super Closet purchase. I had looked into these a few years back along with BC Northern Lights but decided it was just too damn expensive. I'm not good with tools and diy projects but forced myself into another alternative. I think the anger here really should be directed at these shysters who prefabricate them. We all get a little crazy hearing the price tag of these units. Hope you have a great first harvest and don't be afraid to post your experience.. It's good to know what these turn key systems are capable of producing...

So I was obviously having some sort of a brain fart because my cabinet held the solution to my problem all along. The shelf is removable!!! DUH!!!!
All I had to do was take the basin out and remove the shelf and cloning station down below. This has given me another 2 ft. of growing height!!! I wish that I would have realized that BEFORE I burned my top two little nuggies......they should be just fine though...the new growth is already starting to obscure the tiny marks...I hope it has no effect on taste.

Anyway, I am really stoked because I just went away for 6 days and was worried for my girls...I came back though and they look great!!! If anything my ego is a bit bruised because I thought they needed me everyday. It turns out that the cabinet is doing most of the work....heh heh.....I still think the singing helps though....they seem to respond very well to Peter Tosh....go figure...HA!

You can see from these latest and greatest pics that I am posting that I am having some canopy issues. The Warlock and Blue Dream are mixed on the right hand side and my poor little White Widows are now sooo far from the light that they just aren't getting the attention they deserve (they are on the left hand side)....perhaps I should upgrade to a 600w??

By the way, Supercloset called me back and they said that the NGW.com toxic tubes were not legitimately proven, but to avoid the possibility they changed their tubing to another brand....I thought that was pretty cool.

We freakin' went through this last time I posted for crying out loud.....you guys are straight schmucks!! I only posted here out of courtesy because I started here, but the Grass City folks are much kinder people to surround myself with....perhaps I will stick over there.... I have pictures right here to prove my grow.....and I have been posting these for a month. Read the damn thread. There are pictures of my grow right in the cabinet. Even if I did work for SuperCloset (which I kinda wish I did...probably way sicker than my shit job), what difference does it make?! People call you a hater because for some reason you go to every thread that has a stealth cabinet grow and tell the person how much they wasted on the unit. The wierd thing is you have a tent setup that is a totally different animal. People who don't want to spend time to build a setup or are not handy, and want a lockable system pay more for that luxury. But as said before after a few grows it pays for itself. Im just siuck of seeing your negative comments on all these threads. I can basically sum up what you say: "Hey buddy not to be a downer but you got ripped", Then you will go on to tell the person that your setup was way cheaper and will yeild way more... Its sad and tiring so I just hope you stop haunting the indoor stealth grow threads. Anyone who has the cash to shell out on a Supercloset or a Trinity is loving it so if your not jealous then don't act it. I thought it was hillarious when you challenged the guy who was using a Trinity by saying it was impossible for him to harvest so fast without even reading the original post that would have shown that the trinity has 3 grow chambers and cuts harvest .... anyway im tired of it, if your not interested in grow boxes and stealth cabinets stop hating on people who love them.
