great job PW, well i say a few weeks yet then was counting from 12/12, so many dif views, but feeling better now. what you think about re introducing the nutes again.... canna A+B in coco mix clay balls?A calendar schedule for flowering is just one tool for determining ripeness. No matter what the seed companies say about their flowering period times, the only true way to tell if the plant is ripe is to look at the trichomes and compare the ratio of amber to cloudy trichomes. Most people look for a 50/50 ratio of amber to cloudy to determine when to harvest. If you start your count at the time of flower initiation it should be close to the advertised time period, but not necessarily the exact time, because of differing growing conditions in everyone's grow.
Thanks medi for all your input, have just watered and lights out and they are def increasing in size, swelling i mean. being new and just trying to think, because i let them (himalayan gold) go so big would this increase the finishing time as were they not bentwould surley be 7ft plus?agreed on our own personal preff. and sativa take longer to flower is why we harvest later. a sativa at the usual 8 weeks is still only half way done swelling.
Flowering time is determined by the genetics of the plant not the size of the plant.because i let them (himalayan gold) go so big would this increase the finishing time as were they not bentwould surley be 7ft plus?
thanks for replyPW... feeling lot better since posting as there is a huge improvment in growth of buds a lot fuller....Flowering time is determined by the genetics of the plant not the size of the plant.
Thanks MC.take care.Take a look at Zeus's Take on Harvesting in the Harvesting and Curing section. This should help you out!
