Endless Sky My Experience with Endless Sky from Dr Green Thumb

this is my experience with endless sky from Dr green thumb, out of 20 seeds got a total of 3 plants one is severely stunned and deformed and about 3 weeks behind the other two, one appears to be a male, long and sticky although I paid for feminized.
the plants are thin leafed also the plants are not happy with my hydro set up, nutrient touchy with a long time proven feeding program, leaf curling to the upper leafs where as the afghan white widow plants they are with are all growing perfectly.

ALL IN ALL MY OPION IS ENDLESS SKY IS CRAP!!! a huge disappointment and a financial disaster I Do not recommend for indoor hydro AND have my doubts as to its quality at all.......appers to be all hype HORRABLE

This is the first time on this site I'v seen negative comments about Endless Sky.

Did you ever try some of his other strains?

No just the endless sky the shiping was super fast but i am sure i got a old batch just today one of the 2 endless sky wilted and died for no reson... But all of the lauffing buddas are fine i am not impressed with endless sky at all

your not impressed why dude??? because they dont eat the same as your other strains??? i have them too and i was disapointed that 3 didnt germ and 1 didnt sprout but the two that did were champs. and i wasnt gentle to them either. ill post a pic and you can see mabey mine are shit too and im too much of a noob to notice but they seem allright

i have never read a bad grow report or smoke report from that strain other than 1 guy said that it didnt yeild as advertised. try again dude i think if you suceed you will love the end product

Sounds like user error. I've never seen a plant just wilt and die in one day. Especially for no reason other than "bad genetics"

Your doin something wrong, and a tall plant doesn't mean its a male either.

If you want some advice so next time you don't butcher your expensive seeds, post your method starting with germination and we will let you know what you fucked up.

This is not a strain for beginners......it's very nute sensitive early on in veg and likes a lot of cal/mag. Out of 22 seeds, 2 of mine didn't sprout and 2 more were runts. The rest are in their 2nd week of flowering and doing terrific. Try an easier strain next time. But if you're up to it- this smokes as good as any OG, maybe better. Very potent stuff but expensive at $225 for a pack of 11.......

I've read people cut it at 56 days and were happy with it but reliable sources say it must go to at least 67-68, maybe 70 days for full potency.

Dr. GreenThumb only sells his beans thru his own website- no where else.

I was about to buy Endless Sky but decided to check around first.

My question is, how long does it take to flower out, Dr Greenthumb says 42 to 45 days.

I intend to send an email for confirmation but would rather hear from people who have experience growing it.

I'm at day 54 in flowering and I can factually tell you it will take a minimum of 65 and maybe upwards to 77 days to flower and finish up right..... don't believe the website bullshit- he's just trying to sell more seeds. It appears in the 2005-2006 range, people were finishing this strain up quite quickly but in the last 3-4 years, that is not the case. It was reported he lost his original parentage and when he made new seeds again, these take much longer. You can go over to thcfarmer.com and check out the pictures I put up yesterday.

I recently bought an 11 pack of Endless Sky and had 100% germination, and all are fantastic looking large dense bushes now. I'm just rooting my first batch of cuttings now so I can't vouch for the final product yet, but they look superb in veg. It's discouraging to hear of the slow flower times? Hope mine don't take so long.....I'll post more when they finish.

Just for an update, go back and read the first post. It's very accurate. I am finishing up 18 plants and I am very unhappy with the grow. The plants ended up very light and airy on average, flowered at 70 days. They don't finish up well at all, other than a few of them. I heard Dr. Greenthumb lost his original parents and remade seeds from new parents. This is a prime example of a breeder not able to duplicate earlier seed runs. This strain sucks now........... and when you consider $225 for 11 beans, no smell or taste when finished, average yielding at best, difficult to grow and nute sensitive- it's a no brainer. Don't waste your time/money on these!
