i just bought an aerogarden at bedbath and beyond for my girlfriend. they were half price on them and all accessories. it cost me 70

the aerogarden cost me like 170 i think with the master delux kit. it was gonna be a present for mothers day, but i got her something else instead.lol

anyway about the idea of putting the hps light on top of cabinet(whole cut in top of cabinet to size of hood), i'm not gonna do it, because i only have like 3+ weeks left. Not worth it. Maybe next crop. I'll just add more cfl's for this one.

I would still do it man. Think about it.....your plants would have 3 weeks of WAY better light and you will get a larger yield with much nicer buds. Since you plan on getting one anyway you might as well start now.

Yeah I'm torn on the light thing with ya. It's not easy to do mods that big while your growing. Then you have to do heat checks. I don't take my girls outside scared of bugs but thats all you can do if you want to give them good light while you mod the cab. Maybe you should follow my lead and build another cab for the hps. LOL! Could take me a little while but it will be sweet having a veg and flower cab. Cuts your harvest times in half right.

I don't know if i have the time to build another cab. although i would love to. I think i'll have the 3 full spectrum aerogarden lights and possibly 2 or 3 of the 42 watt warm cfl from walmart. That'll be appr. 126 watts in warm, and 78 in full spectrum (blue).
After this grow is done i'm starting one at friends house with possibly 10 good yielding indoor autos. Do you or anybody know of any? The best or strongest high wanted.lol

Remember that pic i took a few days ago with the bud under the UFO with a tape measure beside it. i took another one tonight and put em side by side. check it out joe. its amazin how fast these thing grow.

One week ago i changed the water/nute solution. I fed the girls the gro, micro, bloom, and kool bloom but all at half dose. So i don't think i'm overfeeding. Its either deficit, which i'll change solyion after work today, or a temperature thing. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks like nute burn. Look into the Red Dwarf strain from Buddha Seeds for your next grow. I hear it's awesome! I'm impressed with this Flower Power from barneys too though.

was thinking about it and... still not convinced its nute burn. Unless its just mineral build up.
Little bit of a miswording/interpretation. When i said i changed nutes i meant just changed mixture strength or solution. If you're familiar with the GH Flora series feeding schedule, it says for transition between grow and bllom you use 10ml Florogrow, 10 ml Floramicro, 10 ml Florabloom, and 2.5ml KoolBloom.
Well i used half of what was instructed, and....................a week later............. yellow tips.
I don't think its nute burn because the nute level would have dropped in one week and it would've happened right away. Unless its just mineral build up.....IDK...

anytime i have burned mine, it started out lookin like that. i had the same problem when flowering so i took the gro completely out of the hydro mix. but its been a week and its not severely burned so i wouldn't worry about it joe. your probably know this but 1 tsp if 5ml. my first plant is goin through hell with burnin, nutes bein proportioned wrong, ph fluctuations, different lights, etc etc. but its growin and that means the next one will be that much better.

true true. thanks. yeah now that i changed to the bloom feeding schedule at 1/4 strength i think i'll be fine. and yes i look forward to my next grow cuz i know it will be that much better. thanks

i too am new and just ordering my first seeds lr#2. i had thought of using the same system but was not sure if it would work or not. have you changed lights or are you using the lighting that came with it. i was thinking if i went that way i would add an led after week 3 or so. any help is appreciated!
