looking awesome man. from what i hear about the white rhino, you re going to be so smashed when your grow finishes.

great pics. you must have a pretty good camera, or at least know how to use it. i struggle with the different functions on mine.

keep up the good work man.

Thanks 8 and BB. No definately not a pro but certainly far ahead of where i was. I knew nothing and i have found it fun to learn through a few errors. I am glad i didnt spend loads of cash on a set up and fail.

Looking good man. What's the diameter of your plants? My two cents- I wouldn't worry a bit about them overlapping a bit, Ive got little buds popping up where I can no longer tell which plant they're from it's so bushy in there now. The trick seems to be keeping the air moving and trim off big leaves that cover bud sites. Sorry if I'm saying what you know.
Your little girls got me excited so I popped a couple of seeds in the paper towel last night. Every day I waste is another one you are smoking Rhino and I'm not.

i agree with miagi, dont worry about the overlap too much. i too have buds shoots that are coming from where ever they are coming from, i havnt a clue.

Mike i thought i replied to this a while ago but obviously not. I hope mine turn out a tenth as good as that. I got a great suggestion from Ninja that i should relocate the other large CFL so that its light is better used and so i did a little chopping and drilling and this is the new setup for the time being. It looks a little high but i figure with stretch during flowering it should end up about right. I am on 12/12 and the timer shut off the lights just as i finished so the little lamps and fan are missing but i will add in the morning. I also got some new nutes.

i hate to say it but i bet if you stuck a couple of 70 watt hps from screw n fix for 25 squid each you would see a huge difference, its what i used after and with envirolites. made me buy a 250 hps then a 400. the difference is fantastic

Del this is a CFL grow. The heat in Aus is insane during Summer and even Spring/Autumn so growing with a HPS in a cupboard doesnt make sense. Maybe in your freezing country it would work. Sorry to say it but i hate people suggesting buying HID lights.

Del, its pissing down with rain and cold in my part of the UK today .... again :-) Almost middle of May! Could you do me a favour please and PM me a link to those 70watt HPS bulbs you mentioned? I'm just curious because I hadnt realised you could get them here! Cheers.

Rocksteady: Those plants are really looking good now, grown so much. Your cabinet looks really neat too.

Man mine must suck because if I run both 70s together temps get crazy but when I run 1-70w and 80 true watts of cfl's my temps are manageable but I'm running in a very tight space.

RS things look good bro likin the new light setup. Sorry if I missed it but do those need a ballast or r they plug in play?

Looks promising man, I miss my CFL'S but hey... I was going to mention you can buy dual hoods for your CFLs I actually have one stored away, this allows you to have both your CFLs side by side parralell to one another, apparently though these light emmit more light out put if hung on the vert. however this info originates from those who use them purely as side lighting, so I'll stick with looking for a dual hood... :) I'll run a search n see if I can find a pic of one, oh yeah PS/ did you know that the ENVIROGROW LIGHTS (cfls your using) do go up to a 300w version in both blue and red specs, I personally think that for blue spec (vegging) you have what you need but try n get one of the 300's in red spec (flowering phase) if you can they ll make your buds bigger and stronger :) also try adding advanced nuitrients HAMMERHEAD PK 9/18 and CANNAs BOOST I am sure your aware that CANNA have a web site that allows you to see when to feed your ladies and with how much etc etc. anyhow look forward to reading your updates and viewing your latest pics. PS/ if you do decide to add the nuits I talked about :) The advanced nuitients PK will be used in the same way and at the same time as what the CANNA chart depics for its older out dated CANNA PK 13/14.
The CANNA PK 13/14 was meant originaly for outdoor crops and has since been superseeded by the ADVANCED NUITRIENTS PK 9/18 (HAMMERHEAD). hope this helps, and if you use these or simerlar then you'll be helping yourself :) - STELTHY

Stelth i already have canna pk 13/14. I am going to stick with that for the time being. I have started with the canna terra flores and i havent noticed much new going on. Mayhem one is about 18 inches and the other about 14 inches i think. Thanks all for your advice.
