oh yea and to answer purplecream's last question [which i forgot for some reason ;) ]

i plan on growing the plants about 3 inches above the screen once they are at an even 3 inches all around its time for the 12/12 switch! man im excited ahaha
 
ok guys well heres some pics of the girls trimmed a bit.

haha i tried to do a little at a time..

but i kinda got carried away. haha

so i trimmed the majority..for now. but heres the pics!

and also the screen looks just a little bit less filled since i trimmed it..

so what do you guys think!?!

any suggestions for vegging longer?

because i plan on changing lighting schedule sometime next week..

and also is 3inches above the screen sound like the right height to start flower?

i would switch it now because the screen will fill up more when you switch to flower, if you do it later then it might be too much

one more question do you think i should put them in the dark for 24 hours then switch?
 
no do not do 24 hours of dark, people do that to clones they just cut off, it helps with perspiration and helps with shock. i never heard of anyone doing it before flowing. I have heard of people doping 24-72 hours dark before they cut the plant down and i think that has to do with not soaking up and nutes if your using organic. i guess the theroy is with the light off its not growing and using nutes. THe most important reason i say not to do 24 hours of dark is you dont want to shock them and get hermis. keep the same schudule your on and put it to 12/12. watch how much the screen will fill up after you switch it

the time schedule right now is its turns on at 1am and turn off at 2pm

so tomorrow i should switch it to turn on at 1am and off at 1pm ??
 
or if anyone knows of anything that will help make the buds bigger and sweeter? or denser(if theres even at nutrient for that)?

What's up man. Grow is lookin good! You say your current lights-on is 1a-2p? Isn't that 13 hrs? I'm kinda confused... I thought you were in veg still?Anyway, you want like 24/0 or 18/6 (my preference) in veg and 12/12 in flower. I agree with those that say you should flower now. In the first 3-4 weeks of flower, they plants will grow like crazy and you can fill up your screen in the first week or two and then let it grow up.

Re: your screen and the way you're training... I've only ever heard of weaving the stems up/down through the screen or keeping the plant above the screen once it grows through and then tie it down to the screen as it grows. Your way looks like it is workin fine to me though. As long as you end up with an even canopy, I think you've succeeded :).I'm lookin to reduce the amount of height necessary for my growing, so I'll be paying close attention to the screening aspect.

Also, let me know how much babysitting you are having to do. I've only ever done soil grows and some minimal training (lst). I like being able to water every 3-4 days and then "forget" about them if I need to. Sometimes I travel and it's nice to water them the night before we leave... and they can be good for a week, or more if I use those plantastic water bottles.

alright guys!! i just changed the nutrients... man theres sooo much roots!! before the tank held 7 gallons for the plants.

when i put the new water in it started to over flow!! shit!! hahaha so dammit now they are just gonna have like 5 gallons each...

but i plan on just changing the nutrients more often...

because i used to changed it like once a week but now ima have to do it like twice a week =(

oh yea so sorry about the time confusion.. it was on1am to off7pm

and now its on8am to 8pm...

veg time is usually 24/0 pr 18/0, if you wanted bigger buds then you should of been on that time frame, the hours u mentioned added up to 13 on 11 off.
 
from 1am to 7pm is a 18 hour light being on.. and it had 6 hours of sleep..

but anyways im bored but im also excited i switched earlier today!

right now im smoking
