yeah was just wondering if you can use the ona block right in your grow area???

and if it will affect the taste or any others problems associated with having it next to your plants???

+ rep for good advice

Prefer Ozium products, like the timed mist. Atmosphere makes Ozium and they also make Vortex and Pro Filter, the best fan and filter on the market. They know odor control, and regular ozium eliminates smell without the sketchy scent that smells like your trying to cover up something, or worse, just mixing with the bud smell. Neither are sufficient to cover grow room smell. Get a fan and filter, it will take care of the heat and the smell. A small invenstment, but the fan will last for a decade and the filter you change every 12-18 months. You don't need a "Can Filter" and "Can Fan". The store brand fan and filter will take care of it for much cheaper than the big brand name products.

my personal opinion mate i wouldn't waste my money putting it in with flowering plants they are gonna stink and the ona blocks won't make a difference i have 2 of the medium size 1's (£25) labelled pro and they don't do shit i,ve chopped now and put 1 by the front door and 1 in the living room and they make no difference you can still smell weed they just mask it a little like glorified air freshners just at 10x the price they don't even help when smoking weed, i can't see any advantage to putting them in with flowering plants if i were you i'd stick them outside the room to try and mask any smell that escapes, and i definately wouldn't rely on them to get rid of any smell mate just my opinion though

hey thanks mate for your opinion

i ordered two of them, so i was thinking of putting one of them in the grow area and the other outside of it to help eliminate any odors that may escape.

so what do you all think???

Give it a try but think about a carbon filter if you are the DIY type they seem to be the answer to stinky grows
yeah i thought about doing one of those, but just wanted to go with what i allready ordered frist

and then if those ain't working i'll probaly go with a DIY carbon filter

Ona works, and it works well. Get the Pro in the jug, its the best value for the amount of smell and time to use the jug. In addition to Ona, I use an Ozone generator that is sized for my room, as well as a carbon filter attached to the lights that works as a dual cooling and filtering all in one. Smell is subjective towards strain, so some that say this or that works and this or that doesnt is working with different products in very different environments usually, so its somewhat of an art not a science.

I think you'll be lucky if you can keep odor under control for a few days to a week the most with the ona blocks. I've used more than a dozen of these blocks since september. They are really only good to be used when you need to open the cabinet for feeding, trimming or whatever else you're doing when your cab is open & letting out odors. These are not good to use as a first line of defense. Get a carbon scrubber with inline fan & noise dampener(muffler) for under $200us but if you want to play with odor eliminator blocks & gels then I'd say you're better off spending $10us every week during flowering for 10 renuzit super odor eliminators.

Try putting the ONA in the center of your charcoal filter. Your inline fan will pull air through the filter and the ONA will give your exhaust a nice fresh scent. It works but it evaporates quickly. Don't put the ONA in a plastic cup, it'll eat through it and make a mess.
