lol. I just came across a pic of the most beautiful plant I've ever seen in my life! I wish I could say I grew that fine lady :bigjoint:
Only strain I've ever seen that comes close is deep chunk, but god damn.. What do you guys think? Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?
Oh yeah, the strain is called M-39. Its a good strain for depression apparently, but then again so is any good sativa :)

its a good looking plant but not that great!! the purp could be from cold or over fert. look at my avatar that strain grows purp to almost a black.

"not that great"? I'd like to see just ONE pic of a more amazing looking plant. Not talking about health of the plant or potency or crystals or anything but amazing colours. If anyone has one I'd love to see it. I want to find a really cool looking strain to grow. The taste, high, potency, etc. doesnt matter because thats what the other strains are for but I just want ONE plant that looks fucking rediculous. Seems like it would be very satisfying to grow. What strain do you guys think is the funnest to watch grow? I was thinking DC or NL 5

every one loves weed porn but naaaw i never get that excited anymore smoked my fair share in my life!! and looks can be deceiving bro!! i have had strains that look better then that taste great and no buzz at all. then i have found willed weed full of seeds up the butt brown from being in the cold wind AND PUT MY AS ON THE FLOOR!!

what strain is that?? I've heard that purple strains arent as potent. (maybe with the exception of purple haze or kush) would you agree?

NO I WOULD NOT AGREE AT ALL. that strain is very rare it came out of a luckystrikes pack in my ol mans nam sit after he passed away(theres a thread on this plant here) i was told its called Vietnamese black. ya found four seeds one good fem made it(yes it was cloned) the seeds was 40 years old and i have had A LOT of offers for clones off of it!! IT WILL PUT YOU ON YOUR ASS BRO!! i got 8 OZs off the first plant.

Pretty nice looking plant. I think the purple is mainly due to flushing. Not all strains go as purple, some just yellow. I've grown Greenhouse's Trainwreck a few times outdoor and about to chop indoor within the week, anyways her top leaves go a nice burgundy/purple shade around week 6-7, the bottom yellow/red. You can get purple coloring from low temps as well but with the center of the leaves being a bit green then yellow than purple id say its been flushed.

As far as purple strains not being as potent, I don't really think that is true. The trainwreck has given me the best buzz to date, granted it isn't really a true purple strain as only the leaves go purple and only if you flush. I've smoke some other unknown street stuff that not only had purple leaves but the calyxes and everything were purple. This stuff was potent, but the high wasn't really enjoyable, more of a speedy unclear narcotic heady high.

Haha, good story man. That sux about ur pops but the fact that you were still able to grow it after 40 years!? Thats incredible. Pretty amazing what plants are capable of.
And I've heard of that strain, supposed to be the shit. Never seen the seeds though. Hold on to that one bud!

If it is M-39, then that was from Super Sativa Seed Club or Neville if you like. Its a cross of Skunk #1 and Afghan,some of the best medicine period.

YOU NEVER WILL SEE THE SEEDS TO IT BRO LOL.and thanks!!i dont know anyone but one other person that has this strain. i was told it was lost YEARS AGO!! but landrace still lives on!! i did get a male(out of the four seeds) and pollinated the first plants bottom branches and got 23 seeds off of here. i haven't tride to grow any of them yet i just put them up because i have clones and dont need to use them. i would have to have a very good cash offer to come off of a few!!

Did anyone bother to take a closer look at the pic??? lmao its obviously photochopped and filtered...look at the color of the light, the intensity, the color of the mylar, the obviously "fixed" look of the lighting...for those that don't know, lighting is not uniform throughout a frame. Also, take a look at the center of focus....obviously chopped.
