You got that right d.c.

prick perry = mini-bush (they don't deserve to be capitalized)

Those two cocksuckers have done more to fuck up my home state than I can begin to go into. I hope that I outlive them both so I can piss on their graves.
Hell yeah, fuck those fuckin' fuckers!

Hey texans, who's digging the snow like me?! I'm about to grab a box and go sledding, hope I don't get a prickly pear up my ass! lol

Well I didn't go sledding lol, but I did take a few shots of the snow around here. If anyone else has any pics of the recent snow you should post them so we can all enjoy them. Oh and sorry but there wasn't a lot to take pics of here, so mine are a little boring. Couldn't find many good subjects. Maybe someone else out in the country can snap something better?

Hey everyone, I was reading the TX Health and Safety Code Chapter 481 : TX Controlled Substances Act (definitely some fireside material let me tell ya!), and look what got added in 1989. Looks like there's been a way 'IN' so to speak for getting MMJ laws enacted here for a while. Someone ought to take advantage of this!

"
SUBCHAPTER G. THERAPEUTIC RESEARCH PROGRAMSec. 481.201. RESEARCH PROGRAM; REVIEW BOARD. (a) The Texas Board of Health may establish a controlled substance therapeutic research program for the supervised use of tetrahydrocannabinols for medical and research purposes to be conducted in accordance with this chapter.
(b) If the Texas Board of Health establishes the program, the board shall create a research program review board. The review board members are appointed by the Texas Board of Health and serve at the will of the board.
(c) The review board shall be composed of:
(1) a licensed physician certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology;
(2) a licensed physician certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified in the subspecialty of medical oncology;
(3) a licensed physician certified by the American Board of Psychiatry;
(4) a licensed physician certified by the American Board of Surgery;
(5) a licensed physician certified by the American Board of Radiology; and
(6) a licensed attorney with experience in law pertaining to the practice of medicine.
(d) Members serve without compensation but are entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing official duties.

This part caught my eye:

Sec. 481.204. ACQUISITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. (a) The Texas Board of Health shall acquire the tetrahydrocannabinols and their derivatives for use in the research program by contracting with the National Institute on Drug Abuse to receive tetrahydrocannabinols and their derivatives that are safe for human consumption according to the regulations adopted by the institute, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

The question that comes to mind is where does The National Institute on Drug Abuse get their weed? Is this where some of us might come in. Hell, they have to get it somewhere. Talk about a dream gig.

Here is a link to the whole damn document. http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/HS/htm/HS.481.htm

That was a lot of reading there d.c., I for one, thank you for this find.
