im sure it would be better to hit it with primer then spray.. happy 420th post.
the way i am doing mine is vegging till the plants fill up a single rubbermaid... put the top half on with something under my container and as my plants grow lower down whatever i am using to stack my container on... this is how i am gonna do it... it seems logical, but i am sure there are plenty of other ways to flower and grow in a double stack... so yeah, mine wont make two stories till i flower...
wow im psyched to find this club lol. Im just starting up my first grow, and this setup is perfect for my sitiation. I got all the supplies, and attached 2- 40W cfls, 4- 13w cfls, and a 15w 18" florescent tube. In the top box, i've hooked up a diy carbon filter. There is another weaker fan just inside the box moving the air in the box around, and right now theres just a hole cut out of the bottom box for intake.
the problem is that i looked today and my temperature was up over 95 degrees. Two modifications im thinking will lower the temp are getting another pc fan to replace the empty hole for intake, and ive got a bigger fan im going to use to replace the weak fan inside the box. Do you think these mods will fix my problem, and is there anything else i could try? (different fan locations, etc).
Also, off topic, since most of you guys are experienced with growing inside these boxes, how many flowering plants do you think i'll be able to grow at a time. I was thinking that i could manage 3, but i saw the first pic with only 2 plants, and it looked kinda tight. The strain is bubblicious, and im going to be topping/ possibly lst.
When do you flower in a double stacked rubbermaid
Hey guy's. New here, but not unfamiliar with the whole grow and smoke scene. I've been a member of a coule other forum sites, but figured I'd join this one, since it seems like some of the threads are drying up with people. Well anyways, I am a fellow Rubbermaid Grower (50Gal. tubs) but still in the process of finishing my box to the best of my ability. I'm sure it will come out pretty good, since I've been doing crazy reading and research. I'm no guru, so I'm here to ask a couple questions concerning the PVC air ducts. Ok, so I obviously need 2, 1 for each end, am I correct? And does each of the elbow ducts get pointed in opposite posistions? Does a specific fan match up with a specific duct, like share the same ends of where they are mounted on the tub/box? (Intake fan with duct pointing down or vice versa? I truly appreciate this thread and i hope you guy's can guide me with just a few issues. One question which will be my last: Why does the dude in this grow thread have 3 elbow ducts? Ha ha, that why I decided to post my questions when i saw that. Thanks again guy's and peace out.kntrl - Clean cab! I like.![]()
