Thanks for stoppin' by. I'm going to be changing the photoperiod to 12/12 tonight. Should have the screen filled and buds starting in a couple of weeks. It won't be quite the show it was last time, but it should be pretty good and my yeild should increase significantly. Hoping to get an LB off a 600w light in a 4x4 space. I'd be happy with that for sure.

Damn that sounds pretty tight, you do an ebb and flow right? yeah, alright cool cool. i'm going to be running some organics in a while here, probably ff happy frog mixture with ocean forest, perlite, verm, worm casings, bat guano(maybe, preferably from fruit bats but idk where the hell i'll find it), little bit of sand, then a rock layer at the bottom of the pot for better drainage. if not ff ocean and happy then just good regular soil(with added perlite, etc.) plus botanicare liquid karma, cal mag, and Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil. i will be happy to get a p in a sq meter my expections are like 12 to 14 zips and that would suffice for some time.

No problem. Thanks for stoppin' by. I used the fogger on them today and reset my timers this morning. So hopefully any and all bugs (no signs up to now and I keep a pretty regular spraying schedule) are sufficiently dead.

I've never done a SCROG so this should be an interesting experience to say the least. If anyone has any experience, please by all means feel free to let me know what to watch out for. I'm a bit nervous already about humidity as I think it's going to be pretty crammed in. I'll probably end up picking up a dehumidifier in a couple of weeks when the buds are really forming up.

So i was planning on flying down last weekend but my sis called off the wedding so i diddnt come down. This journal is going to continue to have updates on my new girls. They are about 3 days into 12/12 now. I'm just starting to bend them down into the screen.

I gotta hit Erica up, although I'm sure that's what everyone's doing.

All I really have to say is "fuck tap water". This week I had a flare up and so I've been really weak and haven't eaten anything in days. I decided to try to finish this off with Tap Water instead of lugging the RO water from an outside source. This was because I don't have the physical energy to lug gallons and gallons of water.

In one week the tap water has destroyed my plants. They aren't dead, but they sure do look ugly now. The tap water around here did have 540ppm to start and's just way too high. Now the plants are pretty ugly and I'm on the fence about whether to keep them or kill them. I could just go pick up RO water and get them back no the right track, but I'm a week into flowering and I would really rather use the remaining time to grow healthier plants.

What a frustrating situation. I knew better, but I figured "everyone on the forum recently has said they've had success with it". Well, my advice to those growing hydro....fuck tap water.

Anyway, I'll make a decision today, I'm still in no shape to luggin' gallons and gallons of water around.

Niiiice, thanks. Good find. I'll probably go with the one from Costco only for the fact that it's available pronto. I might try to turn these bitches around, but it won't be by lugging water around anymore. I just don't want to do it anymore.

I talked to her once, but it was all very matter of fact. She wasn't sure and she didn't want to get married until she's sure. But other than that, I'm not really sure. Tell me about your little bro! Erica will always have drama, but your a daddy now!

So it looks like I started 12/12 on 10/9. That puts me at about day 21 which seems about right. I apologize (slightly) for not posting up pictures, but as I suspected it has been rather boring.

The screen is filled about as much as it's going to fill now. There are some empty spots because I had one plant that just never really took off and I needed to use more plants to start out with or veg a little longer. I tried to err on the side of too little so I'm perfectly okay with it.

I took some pictures last night, then promptly deleted them this morning on accident when I was trying to clean out some older stuff from my camera. So new pictures tonight.

The show should start to begin, but because it's a SCROG I don't expect much excitement.

To be honest I'll probably go back to not using the screen after this grow. I get plenty of ganja for my use and I enjoy the process a lot more when I see big ol' donkey dick buds chillin' in there.

The exciting news? Well, the exciting news is that @ 30 days I get to decide what I'm going to do next and get started on vegging them up.

So............today I need to order seeds (if that's the route I'm going to take) or I can wait until next week and pick up clones from the dispensary.

So I'm taking suggestions on strains. Are there any strains that you REALLY want to see grown? I will also pose this question in the General Marijuana Growing forum. I will consider my options today and try to make my purchase by EOD if I go with seeds.

I would like to see a grow with anything from Chimera seeds. You can't get them at attitude but you can at hempdepot or sensibleseeds. Or if you have the $ to spend and since you live in cali I would like to see a side by side of a Dr.Greenthumb elite strain (OG Kush, Bubba Kush, etc) against some clones from a dispensary of the same strain to see if the Dr.Greenthumb strains are actually what they say they are and how they compare. But whatever you do Im sure I will be watching. :leaf:
