Lookin great man, i wouldn't post any other site names on here, they dont like that too much

sounds like you got it mostly down, not too sure on what to do with temps tho

Dank thanks for the tip mang. My light schedule's gonna be 24/0 for seedling, 18/6 for veg, and 12/12 for flo but mine are all auto so couldn't I technically keep them on 18/6 since they automatically go into the flowering stage? I'm thinking about just cuting a hole in the ceiling of the closet and running a 4"duct through the attic to a vent for exhausting, then use two 4" whisper fans to pull the air out over the length of the ducting. I'll keep everything up to date and start my own thread when they get more than just their cotyledon leaves.:leaf:

We sure can, but make sure you do your research on any question before you ask it. More than likely, your question has been answered and just needs to be found. If not, ask away.

Check out my grow in my sig labeled "AG - Round 2". Just finished it up. Check out the AeroGarden outlet before you buy, they are usually cheaper. Also, check out stealthhydro.com for an alternative idea that will give you bigger results.

Fox, you may want to update it to specifically state that "Soft White" or "Daylight" for flower/veg, as it's sometimes tricky to find the Kelvin rating, much easier to go by name :)

I have a few Questions as well
1. Is it true you can turn off your AG pump (assuming i already figure 8'ed and timed the lighting ) once the roots are in the water. Why?
2. I have an AG classic i believe (7 pods). It looks like the pro has a bigger resovoir though, can i upgrade the size or is that enough to have 2 or 3 plants without the roots getting entangled.
3. I recently bought a 50w hps bulb i plan on using for flowering. Do i need a ballast for that as well?
thanks all

1. yes because you will need a air stone anyways, so the pump is useless

2.its good, 2 3 plants Perfect, 3 you have a batter ratio to a female, instead of 50/50

3. yes i do believe you need a ballast for a 50 watt bulb, or at least the socket to handle the power it uses, that with a good amount of CFL's should do you fine

the main theory here is that the Pump does 2 things:
1) keep sponge moist, so the young plant can get water
and
2) create a "guide-trail" for the roots to follow into the water (open res, look inside...see the water flowing down from the sponge?)

#2 is done once the roots hit the actual reservoir tank, and #1 also becomes moot once the roots hit water. After that, all the pump does is PULL IN ROOTS to the pump system, which = problems

I would say three is the max for the AG. Anymore and you're going to run into serious problems with the res size.

Also, I would take a look at the sick plant forum and figure out exactly what's going on with your plants. They look a little sickly.

I agree, 3 is the maximum. I just finished harvesting 3 and the roots consumed the entire reservoir. They were wrapped around the insides and looked like a huge white bird nest. I'm starting a new grow tomorrow for January.
