whats making your plant stretch

One of the plants stretched because the seed stayed on for a while, until about 2" high, until I manually removed it. Now it has stopped at 3.5" and is starting to grow some bigger leaves, still the runt of 3 though.

And ludacris, if you look at my grow thread in my signature, youll see my normal CFL grow...By the way, that pic you showed is not CFL, it is FL...just sayin..

i wont look because as i know you can do a complete grow with cfls.
its just not my style.
i will stick to my 50,000 lumen output 400w hps.

those seedlings are suffering from S.A.R.P.
becuase of the light spectrum.
i had the lights touching and to 1-2" away.
no matter what i did they stretched.
these are some plants i grew from seed to harvest with 1 lamp (400W hps dual spectrum bulb)
it took 92 days from seed to ready with 1 bulb.
no cfls/mh just hps.

you can grow with any spectrum. just blue gets the best growth. i wouldnt use a 400W HPS on my seedlins though. maybe some foot long flouro's. veg um out for a week then switch.

yes it DID WORK for me and that harvest you see was a result of the same sprouts started under cfls.
i already told you cfls do work as i have proved.
and they did work for me but not efficiently or quickly.

you need multi spectrum lamps mostly red/orange/blue.
you cant grow with any spectrum of lamp.
thats like saying you can grow with candles or incandescent lamps WRONG.
i always put seedlings under a 400w hps as soon as they sprout simply because i know HOW TO USE MY LAMPS.
