i don't like political discussion often due to 2 reasons: politics is always a partisan isssue...usually thanks to the politicians themselves. either that, or somebody's ideology, or predisposition to certain beliefs, allows them to twist facts and look at things from a deranged perspective
but when you look at the names of the bankers, who are disguised as polititians and run the government from the top down, it becomes more than suspicious and the facts are downright indisputable
timothy geithner, former prez of the federal reserve, is the secretary of treasury now
henry paulson, the secretary of treasury under bush, also former CEO of goldman sachs and head of fed
robert rubin, secretary of treasury under clinton, former CEO of goldman sachs...and also former lobbyist for raytheon...now secretary of DEFENSE lol
washington is wallstreet. wallstreet is washington. period. no more blaming republicans/democrats/conservatives/liberals, it's pointless
and just recently while Obama was on vaca in marthas vineyard, he took the time to re-nominate ben bernanke for a second term as chairman of the federal reserve. have the american people forgot that the fed is a private company and that this man blatantly and arrogantly told us that he won't tell us where 2 trillion dollars of our money went? Obama doesn't "nominate the CEO of your local walmart"...so what's going on?
Government-run private industry is fascism. Not socialism...fascism. I don't understand how people call it socialism. I see things like welfare, or obamacare, to be examples of socialism... correct me if i'm wrong though? i see all this "OBAMA IS A SOCIALISt and i think to myself wtf?"
And when people talk about expanding the two party system, I just don't think that's the answer. Sure, it's a great start- but I think people need to be educated about the powers, the bankers, who really hold the entire framework of our government. People need to learn that the politicians who run these incredibly expensive campaigns get their money and support from the framework of criminals who have now infiltrated our government and run it entirely. People need to be shed this light and stop GIVING politicians the benefits of their doubts. since when do people command respect for no reason? i was always taught, and by logic accepted, that respect is to be earned
*sigh*
thanks for the thread jr...haven't posted in the politics section for a while, but I felt refreshed enough to do it after seeing some civilized discussion
