Gypsy's first Tree attempt

It could be and if your prepared to wait then it should pay off. Your next run wont require as much veg time if the plants get a good start from an early age with some LST.
I am eager...

It hurts to see the meter spinning to make leaves...

I wonder what would happen if I added that 3rd plant along there, and just flipped them now...

These plants were really an after thought... and I can TOTALLY see the whole in the canopy...

I'll show you the ones I am veging next in a minute... gotta go take a pic...

Yeah I did see yours before in another thread. I just use a cheap timer which I can plug in a 4 way powerboard to and it will do all my lights. I run the fan/filter seperately so I can just turn it on whenever I want. Ideally I would like to have the fan hooked up to a temp gauge though.
I use it control my light's aircooling fan.. not the exhaust...

the exhaust is on a $20 cooling/heating thermostat...

let me go get a picture of the next generation....:joint::peace:

If you wanna add a 3rd plant in there and flip them so you have some bud production goin on while you prepare the other plants in veg then I dont see a problem with it. Starting younger plants with the intention of growing a tree will give much better results than these moms. Although if you were to veg these moms for another 4 weeks under 1200 watts they will fill out and grow rather big.

Those plants look like they will fill out very nice as they are already growing wide.

Nice trim job on them too.

Thanks Bro...

I just snipped where you told me to...;-) remember?

...

What do you think of trying to "implant" one of the Indica bushes to that pot to try and fill that middle?

I guess the plant would be kinda cockeyed.. but I could trim/force her to have that middle full of indica branches...

any thoughts?

Oh and I am not sure if you noticed on these young ones, but I am doing most of my training by pinching and bending the stems... not really tying...

If your going to flip them then I would just release the ties and let it go. It will stay spread appart on its own now but maybe not as much. Then you can add the indica plant in its own pot to flower alongside these 2 plants.

you think it's a bad idea to stick the indica in the same pot?

let me go take a picture of what I am thinking...

brb...

Ive never done it before so I cant really comment on it. Im just thinking that if your goin to go into flower then you want the plant to be taller than it is wider.

Something like this...

With some serious thinning... and some training...

They are in small enough pots that I can get them in there without much fuss...

What do you think?

It's gonna take a long time for those middle branches to be as tall as the main branches are right now...

And by then, either I chop some, or she'll be 9ft wide...

they are still just scrawny little things... in my SOG, anything that looked like that went to the compost pile...

Hahaha that actually looks like one plant. It cant hurt to try it and its deffinately new to me. Thats basically how I would want the plant to be like before flowering.

I'm going for it...

Give them a week or so to spread some roots and flip them...

If this works... I'll be pretty happy... a center of fat indica buds surrounded by fat sativa buds...

More pics when I am done in a few hours...

Here they are again... same pics as last page...:hump:

Knowing that I have more "clones" on that pot than I could have fit in one of my trays...

I am getting more and more confident..

What do you think?

Do you believe I can get a pound per light now?

In my SOG... 5" clones of that Indica produce 3/4oz colas... and 8" clones from that Sativa produce 3/4 oz colas

But I know it's a whole other ball game...

all these plants are still gonna double in size when I put them into flower right, right??

I am getting so excited...

so we have ignition...

all 4 lights are running in the new room... @220v...:hump:

I also got Satindica combo #3 planted in it's own eff/flow/drip set up...

The 4th light is over two 2x4 trays...

Now I wait...

Then when flowering time comes... I'll switch the veg/flower plants with the other room, that now has the 400w T5...
