Glad to have you guy's interest! Well Boulderheads I guess the underlying "objective" remains your choice. Mine, is to fill a SCROG. It is also to produce as many internodes (distance between is controlled by genetics and lighting) as I can during that early LST process. I do try to control the internodes spacing to fit the spaces of the screen. I do that by adjusting the distance between the plant and the lights. Let me know what you want to do with those plants and we will get ya fixed up!

I do hope you find the place you are dreaming about. Beware Alaska is also one of those places where once you buy a piece of land, and build a house, you never want to call another place home!
Growing in Alaska is GREAT! Depending on where you are. As I am sure you are aware of the states size (about 2/3 the size of the rest of the United States) and its weather patterns are just as vast and diverse. The diversity in weather patterns year to year makes for judging your growing season a bit tricky, but once youre in, its BIG PLANTS like you have never seen! Most of Alaska however, tends to get cold in the fall faster than the plants can finish or even trigger to flower. The key is being able to take full grown plants indoor to finish flower or, stage the light cycle outdoors during ideal summer conditions on a mature plant. Then there is always the GREAT choice of Auto flowering strains! They do finish outdoors here without a problem! I am doing an Auto grow this year that I will be reporting on in this thread. If youre interested, stay tuned and sees what happens!
