Hey All,
Well I am Fiinally close to My first Harvest, (5 Barneys farm blue Cheese and 1 g13 labs skunk # 1)
Theese plants are 61 days old and 40 days into flowering. They are growing under a 400 watt hps with two 42w cfls on both sides and I also Have two 42w cfls on the floor shining up into the canopy, even with out the bottom lighting the hps shines through. I have 6 plants in a 8 square foot cabinet. These plants are around 30" tall. The Temps are 82 daytime and 75 at nite. I started from seed and durning veg I fed them CNS-17 grow from 10 days untill 25 days. I then switched to using Canna Flores for 2 weeks then started adding kool bloom powder for 1 week. Then from weeks 4 to 6 I started using the canna flores, pk 13-14 and Cal mag. Now from Week 6 to 7 Im going to back off the pk-13-14 and switch back to the kool bloom powder all the while still using the flores and cal mag. Week 7 to 8 I will start flushing with plain water and a little molassas, I forgot to mention that I added molasas last week once.
The top colas are 13 inches tall and are close to the size of a soda can around, They should end at about that big around. I have them at 6 inches from the light. The mid and bottom branches have really developed into a nice canopy thats quite full so I am very pleased with that. I did not top or prune other than taking clones a few weeks ago, my next grow I am going to try a sea of green just to compair the differences or untill I find a good solid method that works for me. I do feel I am on to something. Anyways I just figured I would share my 1st grow and maybe shed some light as well as recieve. These forums have really helped me out, I have spent countless hours studying and sifting out the good sound advice from the bs. Growing really is about the hands on and learning to read your plants, I love it!!!
I am starting to wonder what my yield is going to be like, Its something I have not wasted the time trying to figure out . But this close I cant help but to guess, anybody want to give an estimate. All advice is welcomem, Thanks!!

Yea, The blue cheese has been great to grow, I'm glad I decided on it for my first grow. Its been taking in the nutes quite well. The only problem I came apon was that some leaves started to develope brown spots at 3 weeks flowering all the while the buds continued to grow so I did not trip about it. I reccomend this strain! I ordered these from Attitude as well. Thanks for replying to my post!!

Alot of the pistils are turning red and two plants seem to be ahead of the others, they look finished but I'm sure its too early. I cant wait to taste these girls!!,,I will post an update on the taste aswell. I have yet to try any becides the leaves. Its tough because every day I want to chop a sample but I'm trying wait it out for that special momement.

Ya wait it out it will be sooo much better. And do a proper dry/cure period for top notch nugs. You don't wanna waste everything you just worked on doing to smoke unripened weed. Yes let us know about the tast for sure cause this strain is sitting in the back of my head right now ya know?

So they have a fruity smell? I bet thats the blueberry coming out right there. And ya patience is the name of the game the smoke from my first grow was like mids cause I didn't cure for the right amount of time, I also cut to early but I have learned from my mistakes and have only gotten better. Anyways post some more pics I wanna see what they are looking like.

Here are a few more picks! I managed to get a close up. This herb makes my mouth water when I look at it. One plant looks nearly finished but I will wait the full 60 days on this one and likely go to day 70 on the others. The fruity smell must be the blueberry comming out, up untill just the other day it had a very pungent skunky smell.

Here is a plant that I did an experiement and went 12/12 from sprout. Its laging behind quite a bit. I did not give it flowering nutes utill 3 weeks in.
The next photos are some clones from the girls now flowering. The next round I am going to try only vegging for 7-10 days then cramming 16-17 plants in my cabinet, prune the bottom shoots and concentrate on all top colas. I am allowing for 2 plants a square foot. Now i am allowing each plant to have slightly over 1 sq. foot.

I'm growing the same bleus and was wondering if you had a ppm number or a rough estimate of how much nutes you fed these babies. I'm finding they suck nutrients pretty well which I hope is a good sign. Mines in hydro though so I hope they look as good as yours. Be sweet to see a side by side comparison. Next time I might suggest fimming them as it took rather well and I currently have one large blue cheese bush. They take to cloning nicely as well. Been very impressed with these seeds. Your grow looks awesome man. Enjoy those.

Yea bro they have taken well to nutes, I dont have a ec meter so not sure about the ppm. I have been giving them Canna flores 10-12ml per gal. then at week 3 started Kool bloom powder [2 pinches per gal] for one week then switched to Canna pk 13-14 for 2-3 weeks at 4ml per gal and now I just went back to the kb powder in which I will use up untill flushing. Also I started using cal mag at week 3 flowering 5ml per gal. I noticed what looked like a mag. or calcium def. and it worked. They do clone very well, I took my clones at week 4 flowering and they are rooted and starting to grow now 2 1/2 weeks later.

I am going to do a sea of green next round. I plant to cram 16-17 plants in the same cabinet and concentrate on top colas. I with I had the space to let a blue cheese get big and fat, I can see hopw they could really get bushy. I also have the Thai Super skunk, Free from Attitude, huh!! Mine are in the mountains 3 of them (Female) I also got a clone from one that I keep on my nite stand, I kind of like it just hanging out!!
