yea i guess i will let them go a couple more days under 12/12, it just seems odd to me that three of the six started flowering a week ago, and are really starting to bud. If i do decide to swtich to 12 12 does anyone know how much that will decrease the lifespan of my ones that are flowering? Hey the go who originally posted this thread, have you done anything to yours or not?

Just take your 12/12 plant from under your light and put it in a dark box or something, so you dont have to sacrafice your currently budding plants by changing the light schedule!!! Hope this helps good luck...

Given that there's lots of pre-flowers showing and the sex of all 3 are visible as female (yay!)... I think I'll give them another 5 days or so to start budding, just incase they're slow growers!

But if no sign of budding by then will switch to 12/12 ASAP!

Is it true that you have to put the plants in 36 hours of darkness before switching to 12/12 ?

no you dont have to but i have seen people on here do stuff like that and i think it makes them make pre flowers right away but i havnt done that yet,im actually thinking like 24 hrs of darkness would be good and might do it on my next grow before the switch to 12/12

hey riad,

How do you know the preflowers are female. Mine aren't showing the sacs so i am assuming they are female but i also dont really see any white hairs yet either.

On the very first pic of your very first post, that plant on the left looks like it has sacs on it, which means it is male... just as a point of reference, I've grown my lowryders on 12/12 from seed and 2 of them have not flowered yet either... however, I saw a couple of preflowers today so they are just large females... different phenos from the same strain I guess. The males on the other hand, all showed earlier...

ive got one pheno of the orig lowryder that is doing that but i have white hairs, just not budding like the other pheno. there are pics in the link in my sig. theyre all at about 4 weeks

dont switch to 12/12 18/6 all the way through is the best way to go just be patient, some phenotypes take longer

Any luck on finding preflowers? Im at 28 days on my LR2s and still no sign of preflowers. My auto ak47 x auto blueberry planted on the same day are well onto the flowering stage. I bought Feminized LR2 seeds from the Joint Dr. Any update would be greatly appreciated. thanks

My lr2s are still small. My standard lr that is doing what yours is has started flowering and its been 35 days. You all need to stop putting autoflower strains under 12/12. You are going to kill any potential yeild.

you should remove the other 2 for 12 hours and put them back with the rest of them for 12 hours and so on

I thought I should give you guys an update on what happened afterall...

I got impatient so put the lowryders under 12/12. It's been a week now since beginning 12/12... and we're just starting to see some tiny white hairs on 2 of the plants!

However the 3rd plant (incidentally the tallest plant - which seemed to have shot up overnight in week 3), I am fearing may well be a male! Please see the pics attached and give me ur opinion!

Is it worth continuing to grow the male in a different incase it turns out to be hermie? (I say that bcos I bought fem seeds - or does that not really guarantee anything?)

Thanks!

I let mine stay on 18/6 and all but 1 are showing preflowers now. I think you mightve jumped the gun. Im also thinking that this batch of Fem LR2s have a longer veg time because after searching the web other people have had the same issue. It sucks for people that have a time limit, but for people like me, i welcome the extra growth. MORE YIELD.
