Want an opinion here guys....
Ok I'm considering growing (already have a nice attitude purchase completed and in) but I have limited space and no free rooms in the house soooo....
I have this huge shed that's doing nothing in my back yard.
I'm thinking about putting a small grow (6 veg and 6 flowering and 6 cloning) in there ...
I have a big fence and everything is secured in my sleepy little neighborhood.
I've heard on several occasions from several people to never use a shed.
If I insulate the living hell out of it, seal it tight with internal walls caulked and sealed, and put a security door on it is there any other reasons not to use this empty space at least on a temporary basis?
I will put a big lock on the fence and my yard won't be accessible by anyone. With proper insulation and sealing it should be sound resistant if not sound proof. Proper odor control is of course a must as is air conditioning and ventilation. If I take all these steps to keep it on the DL is there any reason not to? I really don't want to grow in my house as there simply isn't a free room other than the future babies room and I feel REALLY odd starting a grow in a room that's going to hold my infant in the next year or so.

Well, I think if you insulate it the way you said, there won't be much difference between your shed and your house so yes, I think it shouldn't be any more problematic than inside your house.
Now if they catch you, and as they drag you kicking and screaming in handcuffs don't say "CrackerJax said it would be Okay!!"

I dont grow and am on here for entertainment but do you guys ever think about starting a heavy duty protest of prohibition? I know you guys down there in Florida have it really bad. Most states are at least decriminalizing if not making it medically available. Florida will be the last because you got all the old people complaining. Its just a freeking plant for goodness sakes!

I think the whole nation has it really bad ... regardless of what your state has done..
Decriminalization while moderately good for the people is a 'cost saving measure' for states who can't afford to pay for the prisoners any more.
Medical purposes is a cop out for states that are too cowardly to legalize completely but really need the tax dollars to survive.
Until the day comes that the feds and the states realize it's just a freaking plant and remove the restrictions on it we'll all be dodging the law.
Florida will turn around. Texas is moving towards decriminalization and what happens in Texas happens in Florida next ...
Missouri and Illinois are both entertaining medical.
The problem down here with MJ is not the old farts, it's the Bush Family and Haliburten ownership of the prisons, they're still making money off of it being illegal. Gov Christ is moderate and IMO a semi decent gov, better than Jeb Bush was anyway, but he's still got his republican pockets in big money and always will.
