looks like it was just about there, if ur plants were turning light yellow then it would definitely of been root bound.

I had the same problem. I was growing in some 16 oz. plastic cups until about day 17 or 18. Mine were looking sickly. I put them in one gallons containers, and they look awesome now.

Bust up those roots and put them in some bigger pots! They'll love you for it!

I transplanted into 3 gal bucks. I really don't have the room for 5 gal. I guess I'm just going to veg for a couple of weeks, and flower earlier than I would like.

That is clone 3 of 3. The first 2 https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/159300-harvest.html I'm working on a big up date weight dry weigt for the first two.

Water in 10" pots:

veg about 1/2 gallon every 2 or 3 days.

First 1/3 flower about 1/2 gallon every 2 days.

Second third of flower 1/2 gallon a day.

Last third 1/2 gallon 2 to 3 days.

Note for smaller container you need all most the same volumn you just can't give it the full 1/2 gallon (2 Liter bottle) at once.

there is no such thing as root bound. a plant will NOT strangle itself, that is just silly.

There is such a thing as root-bound but no a plant will not strangle itself to death. What it will do is suck the moisture and nutes out of what little amount of soil there is in relation to the amount of root mass and can dry out and or lack needed nutrients easily because there is not enough soil to hold enough of both for much time at all. It also stresses your plants and reduces growth and yield and quality.

Once a plant’s roots begin to circle a pot the plant is then under a degree of stress and the worse it gets the more the stress increases. A plant’s root mass will pretty much equal its above soil growth/size so you need enough pot size for roots to grow and spread out and you need enough soil to hold moisture and nutes so the roots can drink and feed.

Whenever you pick a pot size try to think like a woman who is looking for a guy for sex and remember that bigger is better.

You can never grow in to large of a pot (unless you have area/size/height restrictions of course) but you can very easily, and most people do, grow in pots that are to small.

I think brick top may have a hidden website he pulls all his info from :) I've read the same response from you before. Probably not exactly the same, but I remember the part about the woman, and the man part. Anyways I always find your responses helpful. So I appreciate them. Thanks for all the help everyone.
I just have one more question. I'm just wondering how often I should feed? Every watering, every other? I have Jorge's book so I should just get back to reading that. Thanks everyone :)

O no no no don't get me wrong at all. I've taken advice from fdd as well. Just last night I PM'd him asking his advice on my water supply. He helped me out, and I appreciate it tremendously. I also find Brick Top's advice helpful as well :) :) :)

so when i show a pic of a pound and a half + plant in a five gallon pot you are still gonna tell me my growth is stunted and slowed? =/

small pot problems:

they tip over
you have to feed and water more often

that is all. :)
