Congratulations you have a girl!]My thought now is to let them go another week before I switch to 12/12 and the HSP. When I water them next (within a couple of days) I plan on going with some FF Open Sesame (5-45-19) and Big Bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7) or maybe just water. Any advice out there???
A few observations:
- Try and get the mylar put up as flat as possible - that way you get the most benefit from it.
- When you water your pot, make sure you water the whole pot and not just a little bit in the middle of it where the plant is - the roots go right out to the sides of the pot, you must ensure the whole pot and root zone is water saturated each watering otherwise the soil dries out unevenly leading to future problems.
- Keep your 250w MH about 12-18 inches above the plant canopy;
- You've got more lateral space than height, consider using topping and fiming techniques to keep the height down and allow the plant to bush out, although you may want to trim some of the smaller lower shoots to concentrate more energy on the higher ones. You need to decide on this now as you'll need to give the plant about a weeks recovery in veg before switching to flowering if you top or fim it.
- Stick with plain water at the moment, let the plant use the residual nutrients in the soil and plant tissue - particularly Nitrogen, before you switch to 12/12 and flowering when you can start your bloom nutrients if the plants need anything.
Looking good so far, good luck with the rest of it.
