have the clone king 36.
just put it together.
it sprays water everywhere...
do i need to cover all the slots even if i am not using them?
Is this normal?
If you’re not using 36 then why didn’t you get a 24?

“do i need to cover all the slots even if i am not using them?”

It sprays everywhere when the holes are not all plugged, yes? I think you know the answer.

so i need to buy a new cloner each time i use a different number of clones....so, like up to 36 cloners. makes sense.

What is your reasoning for *not* plugging them?

Unplugged: water everywhere, algae from light hitting the water, stunted roots from light,

Plugged: works beautifully, THE WAY IT WAS DESIGNED.

i just didn't know. it didn't say to plug them in the instructions....seemed like that was the solution. i just ask more knowledgable people before i do stupid shit on my own.

I don't think I ever read the instructions honestly. even just checking on them i hate the spray. You're going to want to get some spare sprayer/ emitter heads. If yours are like mine they'll like to clog and they're easy to break when trying to clean them.
