Somethings wrong ?

Hi,

I’ve spotted that my two plants have developed weird spots on their leaves. I’ve got them in canna bio soil and I light feed them with canna bio veg and rhizotonic following the guide on cannas web and last feeding I added cal mag 0.5ml per 1L of water.

Very glossy dark green leaves......Im almost thinking some kind of nitrogen toxicity.. Maybe one of the greats can chime in with better info.

I think I’m gonna flush them on Wednesday and test the run off and just start all over again with feeding. They will recover within a week and I’d pruning them later on so I think I can fix it yet. But as you said any more info from more experienced growers on here would be much appreciated.

Why did you use calmag? Using ro water?

cus earlier on I saw some yellow spots (little dots) on one of the leaves so I thought might be some sort of cal deficiency so I used a bit of cal

Right I’m gonna flush them but shall I flush them tomorrow (I watered them yesterday) or just wait till the soil is dry and then flush ?

Wait til the soil dries then water again. After they dry again.. feed. It’s not going to correct itself over night.. may take a week to notice. Keep an eye on new growth.

Keep the leaves on.. they are still working to make food for the plant

Need a full picture of the plant to see where the affected leaves are. Also what lights are you using and how close are they?

They don't look N toxic to me and I've grown some N toxic beauties LOL it looks like a Mg def or possibly some light burn, maybe a little of both, not sure on what just yet.

That’s how the full plant look. So I’m just confused now, should I flush them or what. I had added cal mag before when they were still looking fine and then they got messed up.

I’ve added 11ml bio veg canna, 8ml rhitozonic and 2.5ml cal mag for 5 l of water

When.. was the question... like did you feed it yesterday, or today? Either way its going to take afew days to see any real improvment
