Put ou
Put out 3 brand new cams, with locks today.
I'm also making a screwboard with plywood I can bury in the dirt at only greasy point of egress, step on that, and you wont be back. And im sure I will hear him.
As much as they deserve it, I wouldn't leave any traps that would do physical damage. You open yourself up for civil and possible criminal action.

I opt for some physiological deterrents around my property. I have POW and US flags on each corner of my deck and a Semper Fi sticker on my mailbox. To most bootlickers that says I'm the militant nationalist type with an itchy trigger finger yearning to pop some interloper...without saying I'm the militant nationalist type with an itchy trigger finger yearning to pop some interloper.

Am I a patriotic person who supports our troops or a nutjob with more closets used for ammo than food....do you wanna find out?

Those protected by Smith&Wesson and Intruders will be Shot...,Survivors will be Shot Again signs are too over the top. They may even show intent if you ever do have to shoot someone.

As a person whose been a victim of an armed home invasion, I've got no problem causing harm to those who wish to do I'll towards me. Nor a problem shooting someone.
I'm thinking if it was up to them, they'd rather have a messed up foot than lose their life.
Police in my town have. Told me because it's legal, my medicine, it's no different than someone coming into my driveway and stealing a motorcycle. Happened before, and they said if I wanted to file a theft report, I'd just have to put a dollar value on the property lost.

That sucks you live in the hood or just hanging with the wrong crowd.
If you've been growing as long as i have, it doesn't take long for word to get out about one's skills and, 'oh yeah, so and so's been growing for years ' and with all these fucking junkies with no jobs or life think they can just swoop in and take your shit after all your hard work.
Only myself to blame. As I should have had the cameras hidden better, and got the one that came straight to my phone. I started using trail cams years ago, am now kicking myself for not upgrading, but really, should I have to?
Evidently. Ev-i-fucking-dently.

Is your land posted? You should do that first and then that should cover you from civil liability. At least shield you a little bit.

Sucks that happened to you. I truly didn't think anyone would do that given how much weed is around these days.

You don't have to be in the hood, I'm in a quiet dead end mid-class neighborhood and my wife's car got hit by a smash and grab in the late night.
She left her work compartment briefcase in the car and it was a prime target.
They caught the guys using her corporate business card. One was from MA and his friend came up from CT. They were purposely prowling quiet areas.

I think unless you're in the elite class with the 8ft iron fences on the hill with remote cameras and gates, it's not that unlikely you can become a victim.

Agreed. That's why wife has said next year we're putting in the high fence. She even said, 'can we put an electric fence on top?' This, from the most docile woman on the planet, made me stop and ponder it. Not a bad idea. My neighbors are fire fighters, school bus drivers and retirees mostly. You don't have to live in the hood these days. The hood will come to you whether you like it or not.

@PioneerValleyOG I live in a middle class “ladder” type development. I have neighbors all around me… front, back and side (which is why I’ve been mostly an indoor grower till last year) The placement on my deck shields the front street gawkers, for which there’s many (we live on a high cul-de-sac with some really kick ass views), and my neighbors are cool left and right of me. But I definitely worry when I have service or delivery folks by…The fragrance is intoxicating and hard to miss at this point. My biggest fear is some greedy piss ant stealing my haul in the dead of night. So my very sincere regrets for your tragic loss! :wall:

Yes, part of the rules for qualifying as a legal grow, according to my local PDs enforcement guidelines, is it has to be 'not in the view of the public.' I'm assuming this does not include delivery drivers, as my long driveway brings them onto posted property where it is visible to them. But nowhere from the roads or sidewalks around. The smell, as you say, is inescapable and a dead give away.

Funny thing is, I've set up security for a bunch of grows and Growers . I just trusted I'd put enough good karma out there that I wouldn't get molested. Don't ever think that. I mean rippers have always been a part of the game, but, as mentioned, you'd think with it being legal and everything, the rip factor would decrease.
And the WORST PART, the part that breaks my heart, is that the rippers, probably, know nothing about curing, so the best gets rotted out and scrapped. Never hitting its potential.

Premature bud is worthless in a legal state. Did you get jacked last yr to? Got to be kids close by or their friends

Almost there…first of October ought to be just about right I reckon…maybe a tad longer. Though, I do enjoy me some nice amber as well :) so I’ll be pushing some of them as long as I dare haha.

My White Widow is approx 1 week behind these, and the Mango and Blue Bubble maybe 2 weeks.
