Tomorrow I’ll hit the farmers market for peppers and walla wallas for the chutney.
Tonight the kids chicken gets marinated over night.
No garlic. No mirin.
We’re not going teriyaki.

I bought a slice of bacon (whut?!) to dice into the ground chicken.
Just to give it a little more fat drip and some smoke.
Haven’t decided on the blue yet.

Needless to say I’ll make one without bacon for me.

I love mango. It's one of my favorite fruits. If you haven't already you need to try green mango with chili salt. Some Thai women I used to work with got me hooked. I sure miss those women. They used to bring me all kinds of food to eat.

Thanks. I may have had sour mango with some tamarind concoction on a beach. Get the salt, sour, heat, and sweet thing going.
