Damn.. that sounds like me.:D
My dad was in Vietnam, and he got Malaria. He recovered though.

When I'm hanging out with my wifes family in SD, those fuckers swarm me and bite the shit outta me. While everyone else is like "What Mosquitos? They're not bothering me". Fuckers, :wall:

I think it's a vitamin or something in my blood that when the ladies smell it, they get super horny,

That's really weird... my step mom is the same way. We can be outside after sunset, and she gets eaten alive by mosquitoes, and im not getting bitten at all... I may hear one swarming around me, but i can't remember the last time I had a mosquito bite.. and I live remote, and in the deep woods with a pond, and plenty of places that collect standing water. They don't bother me.

...... maybe they don't like the alcohol content in my blood:D
I can guarantee that's not it,.

It's something genetic for sure.

Same way with me and the wife. She can't sit out on the deck for 5 minutes without getting mauled by mosquitoes. I can sleep outside on a bedroll on top of a sleeping bag,and do often, and not get a nibble. Must be genetics like you said, body chemistry has something to do with it and I think wearing a lot of chemicals on your body does too. The soaps you use, shampoo, laundry detergent and deodorant...all that stuff plays a part with those little bastards sniffing you out I think.

I can tell you it's got nothing to do with soaps, shampoos, deodorant, and laundry detergent.

It's all chemistry.

They love CO2 as well... I've seen CO2 traps for outside. We breathe out 30-50,000 ppm every breath we take and exhale. I've seen my Spartan meter in the grow go from 900ppm to 1800+ with four people in there working. The CO2 genny will not kick in while there are people in there. It will give me an "output" reading if it's been a while since it kicked in. I just have to push the reset button and it knows everything is ok. This only happens about 2 times per grow cycle... otherwise, 98% of the time, Im the only one in there.

Interesting.

According to that study people that exercised frequently were more tasty to the mosquitos than those that sat on their ass. I trust that study because I used to work out quite a bit and I was always getting assaulted by mosquitos. Now that I sit on my fat ass most of the time I haven't had a bite in a very long time.

Just to show you guys I tried, but it just didn’t work out. I posted this on FB years ago.. it popped up on my memories……

Free tabby cat (picture may not represent actual cat) .. Born under the porch about 18 months ago, free range, good mouser, and possibly pregnant. Little to no human contact, but I feed her everyday. This is a country bred barn cat. This cat will freak the hell out if she is ever inside... Do not attempt! She is very independent, and can fend on her own. I've seen her take down rabbits for food, so don't even think about competing against her in a survival situation! Must bring a cage, or welding gloves to come load her up. She looks to be 5 weeks along but don't let that fool you, she will take on a rattlesnake one on one. So, if you need a good barn mouser with a possibility of 3-4 more on the way,. I get up at 8am, and go to bed at 10pm, so please text accordingly.

Hey, I tried bud. Then the situation got worse as I had no takers. I couldn’t take her to the humane society because of some stupid rules they have about taking in country cats (possibly because of diseases), and I’m way out of the city limits.
Ya, it's interesting what different places call them. You say tree or country cats. In SD they call them barn cats, and here in CO they just call them ferrel cats. Here in CO it's probably a politically correct thing,
