that target pistol is sweet. Sorry for your loss
The weight on the underside of the bbl is movable - very cool, I've never actually seen one in person before.

yo gwn.

i havent shot my trap door ever, let me know how yours shoot.
Will do, probably wait for warmer weather tho - chilly now.
Question: Does yours have a firing pin return spring? Mine does not and after some reading I see that most do not as they tended to break sometimes causing a "slam fire" when closing the trap door.

yo gwn,

thats one reason i never fired it. due to the history of slam firing
been havng it since the 80s.

here is me firing my 1942 dated Springfield armory M1 garand......they may be cousins
Love that m1 action. Still want a Garand to go with my m1a’s
Talking about slam fire.
My brothers were at the range without me. One of them somehow slam fired a Mosin Nagant. Both of them got shrapnel. Was pretty bad.

Look at the walnut stocks on these guns, they are going up for auction this year.

Benelli Magnifico Set of Five Semi-Auto Shotguns
The set consists of five semiautomatic shotguns-two 12 gauge, two 20 gauge, and one 28 gauge- and it reflects the structure of a family: the 12 gauge represents the father, the 20 the mother, and the smallest gauge 28, the child.
Stock
Made with the very finest walnut, the sock is worked by hand, with an oil finish applied by master craftsmen of fine shotguns, who are also responsible for mounting the wood. The recoil pad is made in buffalo horn.
Receiver
The receiver is carved by hand in stainless steel with Inertia system, using the most prestigious model in the Benelli range - the Executive - as a base.

So in light of recent debates on this site, I've come to meet (as much as one can on an online forum) many other gun owners. So, my simple question is, what's everyone packin?

Last year I was laid off for a decent length of time and had to sell my ruger sp101, and HK45CT. I still have a Bersa Thunder 9mm UC, and a Springfield XD40 Sub.

So... what are the favorite pieces in your collection?
My favorite weapon will always be my first. Walther ppk
