Biden Shanked The Progs

The dems have everything, they could ban shoes if they'd stick together. This is the dems being ripped apart by their corporate masters.

Manchin is 100% bought and paid for by the coal industry and big pharma. Look at what he is demanding be taken out of the bill.

The whole thing is just so screwed up every American should be more than upset to see how corporate profits are the most important part of any bill in Washington.
As long as you've been saying the same thing about republicans for decades, because....you know....damned hippies and their coal and big pharma.

The republicans aren't stopping the dems from all voting together. Coal and pharma money is. Ask joe manchin.

We're not going to get much done in America with the companies we're trying to tax and regulate pouring billions into campaigns.
The long trend is against right wing white male radicalism. Unless your kind manage to kill our democracy and establish minority rule by the wealthy, in a few more years of turmoil and things will get better.

We are at a nexus so I'm not making a decree like you do, I'm just saying the trend right now is in a better direction than you would have it. We are headed toward multicultural and plural democracy. I don't even know why you oppose that.

i agree...the trump republicans may use voter suppression and violence to get what they want in the short run, but there aren't that many of them, compared to democrats and non aligned voters who are all getting pretty sick of their shit. a lot of people will start using their own tactics against them soon enough. how do you think the trumptard republicans will like standing in line to vote behind busloads of black and latino voters...in the hot sun...for hours...when it's illegal to even offer anyone in line a bottle of water? and they should make sure there are a few very large, very angry looking individuals standing in line with the elderly black and latino voters, just to remove the temptation for republican rednecks to harass anyone, because they're all cowards, if there's a threat of them getting hurt while doing it, it happens a lot less frequently.

You can bet with good odds that Trumptard republicans will not be waiting in line in the hot sun. Their districts will be well supplied and their equipment will work fine.

It's such a phony and vile act. But what do they have to offer? Trump, his con and bullshit? The majority already rejected it. We just have to dig in and push through. But this decade is going to suck because they are deliberately fucking things up, that's certain.

Every person is Washington is owned by whatever business drives their states economy, and donations from other large corporations.

Sometimes these interests align with mine, but more often than not they don't. There hasn't been a law passed in Washington that did anything noticeable for my family in I can't remember how long.

How is a guy that isn't a candidate for anything, that can't even post a tweet, the focus of your entire party?

The 15% swing among college educated white women wasn't trump.

Maybe the problem is that some of the democrats positions were very fringe just 3-4 years ago, and people don't want to adopt those ideas?

Nope just like Jonestown the right has joined a grievance cult and that is to far for actual American Patriots
Not the fake type that assaulted our election with an attempted failed coup

HUGE!!! keep it coming:clap:

Congressional Democrats reached a compromise on the drug-related provisions in the Build Back Better bill, including allowing Medicare to negotiate prices for a limited number of drugs. (New York Times)

well now it looks like Mr. Manchin chose to keep the RXs on the table.

Maybe it is the neighborhood, but I just stood in line ahead of two people who lamented that Thst Man isn’t still in office. When I used the word insurrectionist, you could see their eyes cloud over in real time.

We need to hold the alt-news networks to account for laying the ground for, and continuing to advance, the insurrection.

he pushed to get them dropped, along with sinema, and saw that the backlash would hurt him at the polls, ONLY reason he caved on it...it wasn't good for manchin

I find it funny that people can claim this kind of thing with such certainty.

Just because you have been told something so often that it 'feels' true, doesn't mean that it is.

i don't like most of what you say...but when someone is making sense, they're making sense...i see threats to democracy in the following order...
dis/misinformation from outside powers (russian internet campaigns on facebook, twitter, tiktok...)
dis/misinformation from domestic powers (republicans telling blatant lies and pushing conspiracy theories)
traitors within the party working to stop any progress on the orders of their corporate masters (sinema, manchin)
the progressives who want everything on their agenda addressed now, and who refuse to realize that you have to ease into things with most people. if you try to drag people kicking and screaming into the future, they're going to fight you every step of the way...get in power, stay in power, and do things incrementally...it may be slow, but its a lot faster than standing in one spot bashing your head into a boulder of ignorance

i finally had time to read the story...manchin didn't do fuck all. he's still fucking up the works, refusing to get on board until the last second, in hopes of grubbing a few more dollars out of the deal. Sinema finally got off the pot and agreed to Biden's deal...who knows what the fuck she got in return? 100% more than she should have gotten, w/e it was. at least she's agreed to not continue being an impediment to progress...i'll be honest, i didn't think either one of them would support the bill, and i still wouldn't be surprised at all if manchin voted against it. i'm not actually counting on either one of them to vote for it until the vote is counted and finalized

If the dems would calm down and play the long game they could get almost all of their agenda through. Look at what the incremental change policy has accomplished so far.

I may not like most of their ideas, but they're the only party that has any. The republicans are just an opposition party. With no counter ideas of their own, they'll just keep getting slowly drug to the left.

Yeah they are this close to getting through the changes to combat the climate crisis that Carter was trying to get done back in the 70's.

The GOP has done pretty well so far playing interference. It’s their thing.

yeah...they don't seem to have a real agenda, except to oppose anything the democrats suggest.
well, they always have the agenda to put the big money industries in control of the country and slowly take away the rights of everyone, even bubba jay from the trailer park, they'll just take his rights AFTER they've taken them from women, minorities, lbgtqwxyz...
it seems like maybe they also have an agenda to get a lot of poor white people and poor black people and poor latino people shooting each other...what other reason would they have to make it progressively easier to go armed? they want the "trash" to take itself out....

Please detail how they are making it easier. From where I sit it has gotten only harder.
