I got this new light but one difference is the connecting phone line cables are bigger. Does gavita sell an adapter cable from the bigger one to the one that fits into the master controller? 6E19EA18-9B3D-45A3-AA71-AAEEF8CCC7CB.jpeg

Their 1700e's are made in Mexico......... these are made in China. LOL
Gavita state on their site they are put together in holland in aalsmeer ! The components are chinese ! The Chinese manufacturers sell to more than gavita ! Most lights are made in China and if say made in .......... It's usually just enough for trading standards which isn't much, put reflector, ballast and stickers on it and it's probably enough to say made in.........

$1200, minus the power cord, right now through agron. I got mine on sale a little cheaper a few months ago.

I converted half my gavita DE’s with the 1930’s.
You can take their older interconnect cable, snip off the rj11 or rj14 connector, depends what cable you got, and crimp on rj45 connectors. The 1930e’s only need 4 wires also. Just keep the wires in the middle of the connector. When replacing multiple DE’s with 1930e’s you’ll most likely need longer cables. I had a bunch of flat 6 conductor wire for rj12 that i mostly made new cables from., but did modify their 4 wire too.
As far as the connection that plugs into the actual controller i believe that is Rj9

the RJ45 net conexion comes with diferents wire sizes...cat5 comes with a small sizes on wires than cat6 or cat7...
for fast transmision of data.... the size of wire its important.... protection against noise etc are better on cat 6 or cat7 cables...

...maybe in the future the Phoenix Contact people make a mix of both sistems... dreamed hardware Wilson...sweet european dreams... mucho amor para ambas marcas.... fue amor a primera vista....y sigo enamorado de ustedes...

Paz y Amor...en 2021 aun mucho mas...

Or,
Make custom length cables like i do for cheaper but use one of these before the first fixture
Can source this for cheaper and only need 4 wires
