Grow-A-Long with Dick

There’s so many strains out there that have those genes; honestly don’t know dick about DJ short. I do know that when I ran HSOs Blueberry Headband which supposedly was a cross of the original DJ Short BB it smelled and tasted like fresh blueberries. I was so amazed I crossed a selected mother with pollen from a selected KOS Candyman Haze male. DJ Short genetics come through very strong; it’s like a blueberry with a bulbous haze bud structure...a blueberry haze if you will. Still got a ton of beans from that run but they have not been properly stored; most are no longer viable.

Why am i this old and just now seeing this? What in the actual fuck? I love this. Im going to save some of these. These would be perfect to give clones away in.
Activia cups are perfect size and shape. I cut them down the sides and bottom with a blade. We eat a lotta yogurt around here. Chobani cups are too wide and shallow....

So if I have 2 5x5 tents and a 2x4 veg tent is that my third?
Sure. Doesn’t matter how you do it but use the power of three. May not even need to run all 3 grow spaces at the same time all the time. Just having a separate space each for seedlings/clones, mid size vegging, and flowering makes growing in perpetuity attainable.

It does, I actually have a seperate clean tent i use to slow dry in as well. I think the sarcasm didnt make it through. My bad. Wait till you start swapping out working equipment to buy more efficiant stuff. Now that im going led i dont need the super powered fan systme and i want to scale back. less noise. Old fans: less then a year old...

So at the end of sexy time we have 8 out of 10 females. Hard to believe it but 2 were femmed seed so it’s actually 6 out of ten which is still an impressive ratio of girls. Waited until there were pistils poppin off to confirm. So the light cycle has been returned to 18/6 to revert them back to veg mode. They will all be cloned and transplanted to their final bloom pots. Planning to do a very short re-veg and then finally flip them. These won’t be monsters but they are quite bushy. A couple more weeks in veg might just get them to size.

I’ll fire out an update also. Switched to flower on March 9. Added in a trellis on my sips. There drinking up the water as my humidity has also risen from 30% to 50 %. I hope they don’t stretch much I don’t have much room.
I added 4 cups of my own EWC for the first time to ea sip.:D

Nice SIPs... seriously thinking of building some of these for my outdoor veggies. Can never seem to water them enough even with a hose on a timer.

I keep seeing these sip guys posting beautiful pictures as well which has me wanting to do the same thing.

I recently mixed up like 75 gallons of some new soil using mostly some local compost I wanted to try out because it was cheap and organic. Only mixed in alfalfa/kelp/basalt/st george black rock dust to a standard 1:1:1 of peat, compost and rice hulls so we shall see how it works for some outdoor plants. Havent decided what to plant in the containers, but was thinking of grabbing some comfrey and giving those a try. Will just do some cover crop in there for now to see how the soil does for now. Maybe after this year I'll buy a few more totes or just repurpose some I have right now, but building some sips seems like the next experiment for me.

To be somewhat more relevant to the thread, here's a pic of my two plants a little more than three weeks from sprouting. Hoping for some of your luck on the sex though dick..
