So today was my first attempt at "cold dumping". I have learned you can trick the plants into extreamly internodal spacing by somewhat significantly lowering the temperature for the first half hour or so of lights on... this has to do with the fact plants stretch less when night and day temps are close, but it goes farther if night temps are higher than day... but that takes a lot of electricity, and scientists have found similar results by only lower the temperature briefly right at the beginning of lights on.

Looking good my friend keep us posted I feel you should pull 20oz plus’s with this grow
Oh I hope for much more than that haha
We will see... my last run was half the height, soil, no co2 and pulled 17oz. There are pictures of that at the beginning of this thread.
Since these are so big, and I'm using CO2 in hydro, I'm shooting for a minimum of 32oz
My goal post is 48 oz but that may be a stretch.
I have 750w of LED, so if I pulled just 1.5g/w, that would be over 40oz

This is my first run in this type of system. I was running just 5 gallon bubbles. I'm in a 5x10 tent. I'm going to flip the system around and put the res outside the tent. That should give me enough room to put a 4 pod in a square like yours on the other end. I will do the scrog with them like you have. I've got 2 Mars hydro ts 1000 and 5 cheap leds, I use the cheap ones for the fruit and veggies that are in the too. Your grow looks great man.

Looks great! I am jealous of your lids, where did you get those buckets?
Mine were so expensive and I can't lift a flab on the side to look inside.
I love the veggies, I got mine in the open in my spare bedroom

I got this system. It is suppose to have a water fall in each buckets but with it being in a striaght line I was told I might have issues with the water level being the same in each bucket. Then I came across the current culture systems so I bought the other one and set it up like current cultures.

By far the hardest thing for me to source in my build was cheap, black, square buckets.
I would have prefered that lid too, also in hindsight I should have sprung for the 7g
If I can find a good option I might make the switch out in-betwen runs

In the picture I lifted the sf1000 make make the picture look better. They do not have a dimmer knob, the sf4000 does and i can just turn it down for pics.
Typically I try to keep each light 12-16" from the tops for flower

I've got 2 of the SF 1000's without the dimmer, good light but I wish they were a little higher wattage. Compared with others in the same price range I doubt I'd buy them again..
