Yummy like scallops or water chestnuts yum
Try rendering bacon until opaque. Drain and cool before finely dicing. Finely dice a glove of garlic and a jalapeno or hot pepper of choice. Make a quick tempura beer batter with complete pancake mix, 1.5 cups, .5 cup rice flour, 2 eggs, pinch of salt and good dash cracked black pepper. Mix with beer of choice until a thin batter. Just covers the spoon. Add diced goodies and mix. Place cleaned shrimp on soaked bamboo skewers. Heat oil to 350F. Dip skewers in batter and shake excess off. Place in oil until golden brown. Enjoy. And YW. BBQ sauce makes a great dip. And you can fry anything in the batter.

I don't know if this is the right place but I recently got hooked on The Food Ranger on FB and he most likely is on youtube. Basically he is I think what they call a "v-blogger" and goes around eating street food in 'foreign' places. He samples the food aswell as shows how they make it and a vague gist of what goes in it. There are a few doing it tbf and I guess they make a fair bit of income from the views.

I don't know if anyone has seen these dudes on FB who get a stick and start digging out the mud and at the end of the video they've made a Taj Mahal with swimming pool + ducks, well I can watch them for hours and now these 'street food' vids have sucked me in also. Be careful though, as I'm sure the more I've watched, the more calories I've gained.

Can’t do gluten now but that sounds really good.

There was a Jamaican place down where I used to live that had crab cakes to die for with mango salsa that was terrific. I discovered scotch bonnet pepper ketchup there.

Yeah no.
I have Russian/Ukrainian ancestry, but that trait isn’t in my phenotype. But I like Blutwurst (disturbing laugh)
I got a jar of sauerkraut and wino saw it in the cabinet and said wtf is that for. Ummm eating, out of the jar or baked potato or or or. She said no. But she likes cabbage rolls.

Which I need a recipe for btw my friends.

Don’t get your wurst out here!
