What size carbon filter and fan is best for 2 2 2 meter sqaure tent?

So I’ve just got a new tent for a flower room as I’m still setting up my flower room I’ve got a 2 by 2 by 2 meter sqaure tent and I’m unsure of fan and filter size I’ll have a 600watt and a dimible 600watt hps In there so I’ll have a bit of heat also opinions guys what do you think???

6" or an 8".

You can use an 8" filter with a 6" fan. But not a 6" filter with an 8". Whatever the square footage the filter manufacturer says. Add 200cfm to it. Even after adding up duct elbows, length of duct.

The box stores sell a 6" to 8" adapter.

True cheers for the advice mate yeah I was thinking the 8 I didn’t now that thou wouldnt the fan struggle a bit to push thru would it be better with both 8inch?il suss it cheers bro

Fan pulls through the filter. A larger filter means less work for the fan AND the filter will last for more grows.

Don't cheap out on the fan! There are reasons most of us run pretty expensive exhaust fans. I went through 2 cheap ones before I got smart. :bigjoint:

Yeah I just got one bro haven’t set it up yet I’ll post a pic in morn when I do..I got a can set me back $850 all up I dunno if that’s what u call expensive but it’s got the specs to do what I need it to so ..I’m happy with it..can got recommended so I went with it..not new to growing new to carbon fans I’ve never used one n never had an issue but where I am now is risky n the right precautions need to be taken Im in a dodgy area so I don’t need a smelly roof lol
