Crazy Mexican girl accuses black teen on stealing her phone

Obviously I get what he is talking about, but that’s the Asian American experience of trying to make it in white America, be it in the entertainment industry or date white women. I went to international school (private English school) in Yokohama, and college in Boston but most of my life in Tokyo. So my experience is completely different. When I see Asian guys crying about not being able to date I just think, like you realize, the majority of women in the world are Asian right?
It is interesting how we all have different experiences and how impossible it is to really know what others have went through in different aspects of their lives. But also some of the ways things are very similar.

When he was talking about the language loss it reminded me of how my grandfather refused to let his kids learn spanish, my dad was told it was so the adults could talk without them understanding, but there was likely more to it. Also the job applications and subtle (but constant) racism is something that I think many people who are minority but can pass as white (like the person that freaked out in this thread).

It sounds like you have had some very good opportunities in life and have done well for yourself, well done.

I was lucky enough to get my name and photograph put in the local rag. Assault and battery with the dangerous weapon a 2x4. The case was dismissed after I spent about $2,500 in attorneys fees but no one will ever be made aware of that. It trashed my relatively good name and reputation and I didn't really didn't even hit him that hard. In any event there was absolutely zero evidence but I'm stuck with that reputation because it was a slow news day. I liken it to the woman who accuses a man of rape and then rescinds the accusation a week after he has made the paper and everyone including his wife and family as well as friends and employers will never see a retraction and so the poor bastard is scarred for life. Personally I think the woman should spend time in jail and not just be able to walk away. Your life can be destroyed permanently unless you're willing to pack up and leave the state. An accusation is almost as powerful as a conviction. I hope this girl who accused the black kid of having her phone is able to recover and be a productive citizen and realize the depth of the racism problem. Then again who knows.
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IS THE BIGGEST PILE OF B******* I HAVE EVER HEARD. JUSTICE AND THE CONSTITUTION HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DISPOSITION. THOSE F****** ASSHOLES
lol no offense man, but 'didn't even hit him that hard' doesn't really sound like you were the victim.

But for real, guys need to wake the fuck up with the women being raped thing. It is not any question that guys have been raping women a lot for basically ever. You can't know what is going on in someone else's head, and guys are way too pushy when it comes to sex. Just because you think you didn't rape someone, doesn't make it true. Nobody is playing 'just the tip', they are raping someone who said no.

Even just the act of being a baby about it and throwing a temper tantrum when a woman denies you over and over again until they relent is essentially raping them, no means no. The sick cycle doesn't make it ok.

I don't know, going to jail for that? But then again it's her third time in a year getting into trouble and she is showing a history so maybe she will be off to jail, or at least rehab. I see worst shit on a daily basis though. Not sure what kind of glass bubble people live in where this = jail by itself. I mean I have seen full grown men watching kids play football on TV go and tackle them, I wonder if they were sent to jail.
Escalation.

Something in her life is likely causing her turmoil and I really hope she gets the help she needs. And she needs to lose her phone permanently and just step away from social media. I would bet her 'followers' are filled with cat fishing trolls radicalizing her.

Lovely, linking data about police brutality to this story isn’t relevant. She wasn’t trying to get the kid arrested, she was after the phone. She could have cared less about the kid. If he had thrown it on the floor she would have picked it up and ran out.
You make a lot of assumptions here. I find it interesting that you question the motives of the victims and not the perpetrator.

Language is so important. For somebody who isn't bi-lingual it's hard to explain, but there are words for flavors that just exist in English, and so those flavors kind of don't exist in the mind either. Language affects your thought process and can free it, or trap it.

Her motive is pretty obvious is it not? She wanted her phone back, can be seen grabbing for it, calling for it, crying for it and finally tackling the kid and ending up with him falling on top of her for it. No big mystery there. And the Father's motive? Pissed off father who doesn't like how his family was treated and used bad judgement in my opinion to call this woman a racist. I find it "interesting" that you can't see what's in front of your face, well that's a lie, I find it boring and wholly predictable. You've been told she's a racist so she is.

In all my years if I have learned one thing, it is to not think you understand crazy.

Maybe that was her focus, but you really can't say that it was her motivation. How do you know she wasn't being racist? How many people were in there, do you think that the kid was the only one with a iPhone? The racism was in her choosing him to be her victim of her lies and eventual escalation to assault, even if she didn't understand it in the moment.

The real problem is in the hotels handling of this situation. That was where the real racism is with this story.

Language is cool, but being able to do high level math IMO is the best way to expand your thought process though. But so is art, physics, etc. Everything is pretty amazing, it is just we don't have enough time to experience it all unfortunately.

From what I read there wasn't that many people in the lobby and from the video it looks like only a handful with staff included. That's why it's not like she skipped 4 white kids and picked the black kid. But as I said earlier, we may learn more and I may change my mind.

So 1 out of 10? She picks the black kid. You are looking for a reason for it to be ok that she picked this kid.

#1. Nobody stole her phone, so why did she decide a black kid did.

The big deal is that privileged people targeting black males is very dangerous for the black/minority males.

And that doesn't translate for white males.

No, I’m looking for a reason she picked him period. You can’t tell me she picked because he was black if the only people in the lobby at the time other than staff was him and his father. That’s what the videos show, a few people.

Madness, wtf kinda thread is this.
Clickbait. Of the 'I'm not racist, but' variety.

You won't ever be able to understand crazy.

Just like you won't be able to know what these kids are talking about.

You clinging to this bullshit is just ridiculous when you know the real racism is the hotel. The girl put herself 'on blast', and the black guy and his son did nothing wrong and were victims of racist targeting, no question. You deflecting is just trying to get all those covington snot white angst stirred up.

Crazy Mexican girl accuses black teen on stealing her phone
I must have misheard. I thought the reports said she was from Cali. I did not realize she was from South of the Border. Just goes to show that RIU has the latest most accurate news.
Her English was very good. School systems in Mexico must be doing a great job on bilingual education.

I find it interesting that you imagine yourself as the enlightened one on this issue.

I don't know about where you are from but growing up I always found people love to tell you where they think someone in their families history came from.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Hotel was wrong, she was wrong. Doesn't make it right to make her a racist on the world stage until that is proven. And I think a grown ass man using his celebrity to do this to a young woman is not right. He could have handled it differently, and I admit, his beef always seemed to be more with the hotel, but he allowed it to be taken away from him and turned into a racial issue.

Pretty easy, it's a thread about societies willingness to label people racist and put them out there for the world to hate. I don't believe for a second that if only white people were in that lobby she would have said, "You know what, I must have left it in the cab." and called it a day. She would have picked a thief from the people there and she would not be hated the world over for being something that she may or may not be.

I think it's a sick turn for our culture. We are too ready to turn on people without knowing the facts.

Assault is not assault either, did she beat the kid with a hammer? Did he slap him in the face? No, she was trying to grab what she thought was her phone and tried to stop him from leaving with it. She wasn't trying to assault him and he was uninjured. Under the law it's still assault as you say, but we know better, or you should know better. In any other country this would have been a minor thing, but in America, we are desperate to find the next person to hate. Got to have a few people a week to hate.
