I say squeeze them till the mud runs out their backside. No where to hide now. And an appointed attorney general is irrelevant. Use the existing justice department to squeeze all these criminal bastards trying to hide their own crimes. Stop listening to corporate media. Demand equal protection under the law. Not favoritism in the justice system and criminals diversions. 4 years of frump and still being diverted? Just saying.
I figure when the new AG is installed, he should call back a few thousand retired FBI agents (the cream of the crop who retired or resigned in the past 2 years) to investigate every bit of crime and corruption that Trump and the republicans have committed. Investigate, Mitch and his wife for corruption and other crimes, indict Lindsey not just for election crimes, charge him along with Trump and any one else involved with conspiracy. They declared war on the United States and it's constitution, they should feel the effects of that war and start taking mass causalities, they been skating along for free. Make em sweat, destroy them, go after them like they were old time commies, the country is divided and no matter what they or their supporters say, judges hear cases if there is one and juries convict by unanimous votes based on the evidence. It's not up to the democrats, any more than it was up to the republicans, it is up to the courts, they better learn to live with it.
Even if they end up indicting 2,000 of them with congressmen and senators among them. Those two republicans senators from Georgia can be indicted for stock trading on inside info, indict them, whether they win or lose their runoff elections. If the republicans lose the senate, it should be ten times worse as their entire electoral advantages are wiped away with HR1 on steroids and statehood for Puerto Rico and DC. Next go after the disinformation network the feeds this bullshit, regulate cable TV and large social media companies over a certain size threshold, put them under FCC control and change the rules they operate under. Next reassign the AM broadcast band to digital use and the serpents voice will be silenced in millions of rural 1/2 tons. Hold public hearing about it all, follow the law and constitution, but use the law as a bludgeon, as they do and beat them badly with it, so badly that anybody thinking about trying to pull off this bullshit again will think good and fucking hard.
If they say the republicans will only go after democrats if they get in, I say fine, the democrats better make sure they are as clean as a cat's asshole, America wins. I'd even think about declaring the republican party a terrorist organization, if the evidence proved it according to the law, I think there's even a good chance of pulling it off. Why not? They have done everything they can to destroy the country and it's constitution and their future intentions are obvious. Public officials swear an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States, these people have and are making war upon the nation and it's constitution. The Bible says, you will know them by their actions, their deeds have spoken for them.
I alternate between a subtitle approach and a full frontal assault, depending on my mood (I'm a little pissed right now), but to ignore this or take half measures is to fail in their oaths and imperil the country, perhaps destroy it. This is not politics, this is political war, they declared and have been attacking the constitution for some time now, Trump made it explicit. It does not matter what 75 million moral failures think, the are incapable of rational thought anyway, but I do believe if you imprison enough of Trump's administration and as many republicans as you can lay hands upon, you will knock 20 million of them off the bandwagon.
This is not just a real and present danger, it is an existential threat, act inside the law and the constitution and if you win the senate that ability will be multiplied many times fold. Next election you can start with a level playing field and thousands of republicans and Trump cronies in prison, judges hear cases and juries convict, that's how the constitution works, make it work.
