Mixing multiple mediums is a recipe for disaster

You already have had issues so I'd personally go with Pro-mix HP, peat based, very simple and easy medium, keep the Coco out of it

Good luck

Soil and coco have different pH requirements for proper nutrient uptake.
What pH do you plan on using......soil pH or coco pH?
That’s where I came to a halt in my thoughts on it. Doesn’t coco hold water/nutes?
If I was backed into a corner I would keep ph at 6, and try hard to not veer off.

I have a good feeling about this. I think that by mixing coco with soil it will give me at least 2 weeks before I have to start adding nutrients. So that will help me get through the seedling stage. Then once I get through the seedling stage I'll start introducing nutrients. The soil and treated coco should have enough micronutrients that I won't have to add much else besides my part 3 nutrients. But just in case, I will have cal mag on hand. If things go awry, I'll will get a ph meter ph updown and ill figure out whats going on and take care of it.

But for right now, im just going to go with trial and error and feel it out for myself. Who knows maybe this could be a fantastic medium. Gotta try and be positive and prepare for the worst.

Just grow in coco with recommended nutrient strength. All you're doing is giving yourself extra hassle and headache.

I bought mother earth perlite/coco
Its 30/70 and has amendments like bat guano etc

My big question is, do I start feeding nutrients immidiately? Or does it have nutrients in it cant find anything online

Return that shit. Buy pure coco. Put your plants in it. Feed them when you water them. Coco is hydro. The whole point is to know exactly what you're putting in with every watering. You can grow however you want, but KISS is best.

The product you purchased is fine, it has just coco and perlite, no nutrients. Start with weak nute solution, and don't overwater. Look up a coco nutrient schedule for whatever nutes you have online.

I don't think you will have any problems with your plan. I use Roots Organics Green Lite soil; which is basically what you have decided to create. I amend it a bit for fun and do Jack's 321, works great and I add nothing else. Never check PH or runoff; simple.
